04/3/2014 14:32 | In case anyone is interested... This is posted on the company website: Scotty Group SE Trading Update February 2014 The management of the Scotty Group SE is proud to announce that in the year 2013 we were able to extend our leading position in the market for satellite video, audio and data communications by focusing on partnership with our clients and complementary equipment/services suppliers. We also achieved substantial progress in developing new innovative solutions to fulfill our clients' needs. This further strengthens our position as a leader in innovative customised solutions for satellite communications in all airborne, maritime and land-operated fields. As a result of this progress Scotty Group SE achieved in 2013 an increase in turnover compared to the year 2012 of +18% to a level of approx. 5,0 Mio. The EBT (earnings before tax) is expected to have improved to approx. +7% (related to the turnover). The final figures are subject to the audit of the financial statements. We are confident that the broadening of our portfolio of products and solutions will be reflected in a further improvement in our turnover in 2014. Our objective will be to maintain EBT, expressed as a percentage of turnover, at the same level as in 2013, by investing further in our R&D programmes. 21/2/2014 17:06 | There is no story FFS. | minerve
12/2/2014 08:43 | Minerve, well it obviously does bother you or you wouldn't have made such a pointless comment in the first place! I already asked the question in 1363! My interest is just that, I sold out here around 80p but still follow the story. | andy
08/2/2014 23:29 | It doesn't bother me at all; I just find your interest in this stock incredible. I don't see anything in what I have said suggesting I am trying to prevent it. Go ahead, ask the question. I will ask you a question: How long are you going to wait for a return? :D | minerve
08/2/2014 01:27 | Why does it bother you? This is a discussion board, and I thought I was allowed to ask a question! The fact that you want to prevent it is certainly "incredible"! | andy
07/2/2014 22:37 | Why do you even bother to ask? Incredible. | minerve
07/2/2014 11:31 | Last I saw it was bid 0.71 for a couple of thousand and offered at 2.9. No trading so price unchanged at 0.65. | woodgate3
06/2/2014 09:00 | woodgate, Are you able to post the order book please? If not what are the lowest offers, and in what size please? | andy
02/2/2014 09:58 | woodgate3 - thank you so much for sharing your info. Appreciate it and would be grateful if you would be kind enough to post here if you hear anymore ? Thanks again. | apsoo
02/2/2014 09:53 | Recently I had a chat with the broker in Vienna who, whilst having no report as such said that as far as he was aware the company was on track for a decent profit this year although the general defense market was difficult.Order book holding up well with some good German business. No fireworks I am afraid but also no disaster. The market price is odd as although the last quote is 0.66 ish there is a bid of 0.80 for over 10,000 but no offer at that level which, as the dealing system is order driven means that the price remains at 0.66. Good luck! | woodgate3
01/2/2014 18:37 | I am clearing the bottom drawer and seriously need to make a decision as to what I'm doing with these now. Does anyone know if there is a future with this company....are they winning any business.....what is the financial position...the website does not reveal much apart from a order announced on 30-08-13. I've emailed the company but not holding my breath..lol ! | apsoo
11/1/2014 22:06 | I cannot believe a broker told you to invest ALL your savings into one high risk AIM company! In fact I cannot believe any broker anywhere would ever advise a client to put all his eggs in one basket, even is a rock solid institution like a bank stock! :-) If this is true, I would commence a claim now as clearly this advice defies all the rules of investing! May I ask who that broker was? Seriously, this is so obviously completely incompetent advice, I would be referring it to solicitors, you could try a no win no fee, I think it's a slam dunk in your favour. Even if they disputed their advice, the fact that you were all into one stock in your portfolio is surely the proof? !!!!!!! | moving up
11/1/2014 17:57 | Thank you Andy, Regards moving up | moving up
11/1/2014 17:22 | moving up, Well I will just wish you good luck and I hope you prevail. | andy
11/1/2014 14:00 | Hi Andy thanks for your support, but as claim is in progress my lips are tied for obvious reasons, moving up | moving up
10/1/2014 20:31 | Breakout! beam us up Scottie! | andy
10/1/2014 18:42 | Not quite dead yet, There was a trade in scotty shares (278) on 08/01/14 at a price of 65 cents, this was the first trade for several months. | beerbandit
10/1/2014 15:15 | "Return to AIM..." I would say, no chance as things stand. As for stock liquidity... again, I can't see why they'd bother. For all intents and purposes SCO is now a privately owned company with just a few people holding the majority of the shares. There's no demand for this stock, so why go through the bother and cost of a share split or placement? The only thing that will drive the share price up will be significant orders, which they've perennially struggled to win. So, in a nutshell, us small holders are well and truly snookered! All this doom and gloom is in my humble opinion of course... E. | abrahe00
10/1/2014 14:08 | abrahe00 - thanks for your input. No hope of a return to AIM....or a liquid market over there ? | apsoo
10/1/2014 12:37 | The company website was working yesterday... I know as I happened to be clearing out old bookmarks and clicked on it. Seems to be offline this morning with a technical problem. The last e-mail I had from Hugh Edmonds basically said they're carrying on as normal, just barely keeping their heads above water. Given that the shares are illiquid and there is no one creating a market for them, from a trading pov, I think they're dead and buried. Even the 30 August announcement re a 1.8m failed to move the share price as there was no demand. AIMHO E. | abrahe00
10/1/2014 09:34 | Gilgamos - Thanks for the link, however, I was aware of the Vienna Bourse site but that doesn't give you much at all. I'm after latest reports etc, not just the last traded price. Thanks anyway. | apsoo
10/1/2014 09:31 | moving up 28 Sep'13 - 19:42 - 1332 of 1347 0 0 Minerve Scotty will not go bust, if they do, then one will take the appropriate action against the brokers who advised me to risk all my savings in this high risk company many years ago, so do not fret deer boy,do you not agree Plasy --- I cannot believe a broker told you to invest ALL your savings into one high risk AIM company!
