|See Landkom (LKI) which is rapidly expanding land aquisition and crop production across Ukraine.
Currently planted 10,000 hectares with plans to control 350,000 ha by 2011 and 500,000 ha by 2012.
Meeting all their "most ambitious targets".
|Check out this weeks positive trading statement from solar panel maker Jetion (JHL):
"...strong first half in both sales and profits and performance is well ahead compared to the same period last year...
...Demand for Jetion's products is expected to continue to outstrip supply in the second half of 2008 with the current order book underpinning the strong growth in production planned in the second half of the year.
All of the output in the second half of 2008 has already been covered by orders...
...Directors are confident of a strong performance, not only in the first half but for the year as a whole...".|
|Sold at last - think it will equate to £8.87 per share. Worth waiting for.|
|some big investor took a chunk of IBE(5%?? or so) leading to that type of speculation.|
|"Now some bid speculation for IBE."
where did you read that harvester?
there is an ibe thrread
|harvester: looking further into it, the brokers appear to have calculated the value as 1 Iberdrola share to be given for each SPW share held - at 45 euros, that would be equate to £30.5.|
|dumpling: my broker's statement shows a similarly erroneous SPW value . They will correct it eventually. Their account software obviously can't cope with the complexity of the takeover .
Now some bid speculation for IBE.|
|My shares still haven't been sold but Ibredola shares have apparently risen 20% in the last month. According to my futures' broker's monthly statement SPW are worth over £29 - shome mishtake shorely. Does anyone else have these in an account with Berkeley Futures? I'm keeping schtum - you never know.|
|Does anyone know what happens to the residual of the money from re-investment of dividend after the takeover?|
|I think first issue price for spw & sse was about 330/340 or close to that. SPW has performed relatively poorly relative to sse .
Have spw shareholders yet received both cash and IBE shares? If so, was the cash paid in £ or euros?|
|Does anyone know the first issue price of this share when it became a public company ?? - also Scotish Hydro's first issue price ?
|same here. SPW investor relations say that they
should all arrive not later than Friday.
Lets hope so .|
|I got these through my futures broker and still have not received anything. They were going to look into it. That was on Tuesday - have heard nothing yet. I am a bit cheesed off having £8000 worth of stock not doing anything.|
|Can anyone help me please. I opted for cash (option B) I understand that the total offer, including the special dividend is 795.61. This morning I received my cheque from my broker. It tells me that each SPW is valued at 780p The dividend is 12p This makes a total of 792p and not 795.62. Can anyone tell me how that is arrived at.
The other item that puzzles me is that the option to convert all shares to cash may not be possible. In that case I would have to pay my broker £5 to convert it into paper certificate, in order for the registrar to sell the rest of the shares
Now, as I have received everything in cash, I should not have to pay the £5. Is that correct?|
|Iberdrola cheque received this morning :-) Regards UK|
|Does anyone know what the cash conversion was for the 0.1646 IBE shares?
|Barclays reckon for five days after that date.|
|I bet you are smiling again now ...your welcome.
Have done well with these (I think) as I bought when they originally floated.|
|RD123 Settlement should be around 07/05/07. Regards UK|
|Jonck & UKnighted Thanks for taking the time to explain, the bit that I missed was the cash to come, hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later. Once again thanks.|
|Ahhh! UKnighted has confirmed, and I forgot the rounding down bit.|
|RJD123, yes your trading account will show you a drop of approx 45%, but remember you have cash to come back in respect of the conversion to IBE shares, so it will make up for the drop.
For each share, you should receive 400p in cash, + 0.1646 IBE shares (which you have...43 shares), so you have cash of £1056 to come yet.
You also have a dividend to come of £35.21 approx before tax is taken off.
Your 43 shares should be worth about £1066 at todays close.
So adding up, you have a total value of about £2157
Before the conversion, you had approx £2112 value.
I think I have done this right and hopefully someone else will confirm.|
|RJD you should be getting 400p per share price share and .1646 of an IBE share per share price share plus a cheque for any rounding on the calculation. Regards UK|
