I agree and we may have a rally start perhaps, after the initial week of July is out the way.... in my opinion.

With 50% of their portfolio in US stocks, the great GBP f/x weakness will certainly feed through positively to the valuations of their portfolio in sterling terms.

(ps. - yes.

after the grief/loss/frustration/surprise/shock/denial of the referendum result starts wearing off, the UK's newly regained freedom poses the most remarkable upside opportunity for the UK after years of being shackled in every way by Brussels).

Truly astonishing.

Amazon hits $700 today.

What a jaw-dropping recovery from the Feb low of sub $500.

Amazon is ScoMo's largest holding.

Fantastic.

Everything I read about Tesla 3, gives me the willies. I will avoid SMT until I know it sells its holding in a marketing company that talks a lot and makes very little. JD

Illumina tanked yesterday on a warning from profits in Europe.

The rest of the global sales for Illumina look fine.

The 25% slide in share price on the back of this news is vastly over-done in my opinion.

I fully expect Illumina to claw back most of recent losses in short order just as Amazon and Tesla rapidly did after Jan/Feb slump.

Will hopefully be retesting the 280's and beyond in the near future.

Amazon is unstoppable.

Tesla has now reached a STAGGERING 400,000 orders (and climbing) for its latest Model 3

Yes, I knew Amazon was a winner when I tried my level best to resist using it but in the end it was the best....seemingly safest.... option.

The main feature of the April Edition of Fortune magazine is titled " The World's 50 Greatest Leaders".

In 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions are Angela Merkel, Aung San Suu Kyi, The Pope and Tim Cook.

Guess who is in number slot as Fortune's nominated Greatest world leader ahead of Merkel and The Pope?

Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.

Maybe ScoMo's holding of Amazon will be recognised as an inspirational holding.

Now is not the time to reduce holdings in Amazon.

Buying cheap insurance in the form of put options to hedge the position against market volatility would not be an unwise move for ScoMo. The cost of such "insurance policies" is de minimis in the scheme of things.

Tesla has sky-rocketed since the February slump to $150.

Now almost back to last year's July high at $265 and going ballistic after the furore of the new Model 3 announcement where orders for more than 275,000 units have already been placed, equating to $11billion of orders. More orders will undoubtedly follow.

As at 29th. February ScoMo had a 4.2% portfolio holding of Tesla being ScoMo's 7th. largest investment.

Since Tesla was about $150 at the end of Feb, compared to $265 today ( +c. 70%), it is likely that Tesla will be higher ranked when the March month-end figures are released.

Additionally, Amazon has fully recovered its composure and now back at $600 from the fall to $475.

ScoMo is back on track and moving ahead again convincingly after the Jan/Feb market shake-out.
