09/6/2016 11:51 | Good to see a 30k buy cause a tick back up. Next month's prelims are forecast to achieve 1.5p EPS, with SDI also having an estimated £1m cash pile against a £6m m/cap. The current year forecast is 1.6p EPS, or a £1.1m PBT. And that's without anything in the price for the potential of Proreveal. Cheap imho. | rivaldo
31/5/2016 09:47 | FYI last Friday's results from Octopus AIM VCT contained a snippet that they've invested £179,000 into SDI, presumably via the Nov'14 acquisition fundraising. SDI were the only profitable company they invested in of their five new investments! | rivaldo
24/5/2016 11:15 | Looks as though there are a few non believers. I suspect the shares will trade up into the results and then get a bit of a pop when they come out as the story becomes more widely known. Don't currently hold but i will investigate further and may open a position. | spooky
24/5/2016 10:33 | Finncap's note this morning specifies 1.5p historic EPS and 1.6p EPS this year, with a £1m net cash pile. They have a 29p target price. I suspect Stockopedia are somewhat out of date. | rivaldo
24/5/2016 09:07 | So there would appear to be some disagreement over the make up of the 2016 numbers and the shares may or may not be very cheap, cheap or fully valued. Looks as though there is an opportunity there somewhere, i will investigate. | spooky
24/5/2016 08:16 | Stockopedia have 2017 E as £10.3 Revs, 2.35p normalised eps | pj 1
24/5/2016 08:15 | Finncap confirmed this morning they expect historic: £0.8m adjusted PBT 1.5p EPS £1m net cash against a £6m m/cap Very, very undervalued imho. For this year they expect: £1.1m adjusted PBT 1.6p EPS | rivaldo
24/5/2016 08:08 | Thanks for that quote from Finncap, Timbo. The practice of announcing expectations in terms of (unpublished) expectations is a pet hate of mine. There is a tendency to use PE meaning "PEBITA with adjustments". The PE expected by Finncap is 19 (9.5/0.5), so fairly fully valued. | gnnmartin
24/5/2016 08:06 | Agree with your thoughts rivaldo, been holding for around 17 months now.In answer to Hydrus point, Chairman holds just over 3% which is some skin in the game imo. | hastings
24/5/2016 08:03 | It's cheap simply because SDI have disappointed the market in the past and were vulnerable to economic cycles. New(ish) management have now transformed the company, and Sentek has brought in good recurring revenues and increased profitability. I'd anticipate further acquisitions soon given the cash pile. This is just the start of the journey imho. There could be a long way to go. | rivaldo
24/5/2016 07:53 | Well perhaps the fact Directors own practically none of the company puts investors off. If it's so cheap and prospects good, why aren't they backing themselves? A red flag for me. | hydrus
24/5/2016 07:47 | Why so cheap? | spooky

24/5/2016 07:27 | Eps of 1.5p according to FinnCap note this morning.Adjusted pre-tax £800k.Net cash position of £1m.PER of 6 at the current price. | hastings
24/5/2016 07:19 | Am i right in thinking that earnings expectations for the year just completed are 1.7p? | spooky
27/4/2016 13:26 | The 133,000 buy at 11p (and an earlier small top-up from me at 9.95p) took out all the available stock - now there's only small amounts available again at 11p. | rivaldo
27/4/2016 09:30 | Only around £15k of sells in the last couple of days have moved the price well down and the spread to a much more acceptable 1p. Some stock is available at 9.95p.... | rivaldo
25/4/2016 15:11 | Thanks PJ1. Let us hope the CEO earns his spurs. | mudbath
25/4/2016 14:43 | Hi mudbath. Unsure if Ive posted this before or not but I was quite impressed with the CEO presentation at Sharesoc last year, but for different reasons than usual. It was far from a slick presentation and I would even say the presentation skills were left wanting a bit. But he seemed 100% honest, which was refreshing, and answered all questions very directly with no waffle! Its obviously high risk/ high reward so it will not be a large holding for me, yet anyway. | pj 1
25/4/2016 11:35 | Hello PJ1. Despite my misgivings,I had quite a punt on these, mopping up most of the sub 11 pence availability. Fingers crossed then that we can double our money in SDI over the next 12 months. | mudbath
25/4/2016 11:01 | I bought a few on Thursday. Actual spread using a dummy sell was only 21% lol. Scarry.. | pj 1
25/4/2016 10:51 | The share price will remain forever becalmed if the MMs wont trade. This reluctance, added to a 44.44% dealing spread, must render SDI as a candidate for the most illiquid AIM stock of all time. | mudbath
21/4/2016 13:50 | Cheers :o)) I wouldn't bother unless something interesting was happening...and it's certainly encouraging. | rivaldo
21/4/2016 13:45 | Keep the good news coming rivaldo ! | mudbath |
