Everyone has a pair battlebus which we choose to wear often at just the wrong moment.I know we go back a fair way with STL and sluggish (at best) might describe its performance over recent years.
As Bob Dylan says though,

Interesting, hastings,is something of an understatement imo.
The RNS arrived as forecast with serious levels of share turnover ensuing.
I look forward to your contributing to the STL thread.
Cheers,mudbath.

(Visitors to the SDI thread are certainly multiplying ! Further improvement in the share price performance is looking assured imo )

Hi Mudpath, will take a look, always interested in new subjects. As for SDI, it is apparent that there had been operational/management issues, which appear to have been addressed, with a more business focused approach now in place to drive all aspects forward. The company really should be able to grow sales above the £7m mark now and deliver pre-tax profits of circa £500-£600k within the next year or two, which would then translate into decent EPS figures.Another acquisition should also be on the cards. Will be interesting to see what FinnCap come up with in a new note due fairly soon.

battlebus2.
You have got to believe it.
Watch out for an RNS next week regarding new clients and huge upward profit revision.
Its game on,with multiple multiples of potential bagging just waiting for you.
Forget the rest,Stilo is best !
Sorry about the O/T,but that concludes matters.

I carried out a fair bit of research on SDI in late 2014 and as a result felt pretty optimistic over their future prospects. The flat results therefore came as a surprise.
Nevertheless,as the TU demonstrates, the future does look much more promising.
So much so that I believe that the share price remains behind the curve.
For me, ProReveal remains the jewel in the SDI crown, although its time in the sun still lies ahead.

hastings.
If you want to research a REALLY interesting company, have a look at Stilo(STL).
Not much to look at on paper, yet the reality is staggeringly different.
I went to the AGM yesterday. The path for this and future years profitability is almost vertical with very significant positive news flow due.
Imo,the most exciting company on AIM.

Agreed Mudpath and the recent retrace, prior to today effectively valued the business at very little.TU should be announced sometime in the next couple of weeks.Hopefully a continuation of the various parts being profitable, which would put SDI on track for decent full year performance.

Thanks hastings.
With reoganisations, reverse takeovers and product re-engineering behind us (for the time being),the SDI Directorate should now be able to concentrate on their key task of ensuring that increasing levels of EBITA are now generated.

With a trading update due,any return to profitability would surely signal a rise in the share price, which looks way too low anyway at just 7 pence, imo.

I think it is the usual case of people just getting bored and moving on BB.
Company has apparently been trading profitably since the results,so unless there is a marked downturn in the next few months, SDI should be returning as forecast,
a pre-tax profit.

If that is the case and it is somewhere near Broker expectations then the shares are, given the mkt cap on the cheap side.

Past track record understandably leaves questions, but they appear to recognize that and believe the business can be taken forward.

May be of some interest, from page 63.

Agreed that it has been woeful bookbroker, so it should be interesting to see what transpires later in the year.

Woeful record of achievement in living up to investor expectations, Pro-reveal was meant to be the elephant in the room, that has been marginalised by the competition, raising cash is simply to enable the directors to keep their jobs, they are not going to work for F/all!

If this time they do actually hit full year forecast numbers and perhaps secure another bolt-on acquisition, then they could surprise.
