|Ah the memories. All brought back by this in the news today
Someones bought em for 32p a share or something
Does this mean that Jane gets her old job back?
|Change of name to Eidos. Try the ticker EID.|
|Something is wrong.......|
the winchester club
|Yeah, bloody hell. WTF, it's almost as if the stock had stopped trading?!|
the winchester club
|Yes Darren - but have you actually worked in Montreal - and found out whether or not they are both technically brilliant, artistically brilliant and also know how to get the product out on time - and make a profit - in the economic climate last year - and analysed the entire prospects for next year and after that?
Are they still doing war games?
Personally I think they are rather a little after their sell by date
|You dope! Click here|
|TRU now heavily discounted at game. Yes I know they are doing it to other titles aswell but it could still impact forward reorders if any for TRU|
|Good for research and now discounted TR:U to under £20 delivered
|TR:U's closest rival this Xmas (at least in terms of content) has just received a very lukewarm reception at the link:
Hopefully more reviews along those lines will tempt punters towards TR and away from PoP.|

|So ... a new thread soon?
Sorry ignore above ... just seen it.|
|Further to the Company's previous announcement of 2 December 2008 that all resolutions contained within the notice of the Annual General Meeting were duly passed, the Company confirms that it will change its name to Eidos plc with effect from 3 December 2008. The Company's trading (ticker) symbol will also change from SEG to EID on the same date. The Company's website is www.eidos.com.
|so in the end Eidos takes over Sci - lol|
|At the Annual General Meeting of SCi Entertainment Group Plc ("SCi") held today, all resolutions contained within the notice of meeting were duly passed.
Application to change the Company's name to Eidos plc has been made to the Registrar of Companies and the effective date of the change will be notified in due course.|
|the AGM is today at noon in Peel Hunt's offices in the city. anyone going to this? a clearer picture of a bid situation may be announced at the meeting. however, according to market rules it must be announced to the whole market in the form of an rns and not just those at the agm.|
|I would say a more encouraging week (in Europe at least) for TRU. Clearly this wasn't "much anticipated", hence the disappointing week 1 sales (in the UK) but maybe this can build with the wider market.
Certainly the week 2 sales (in the UK) could make you think that.
Germany it had a good week 1, France seems to be following the UK, so signs of life there too.
Okay, I'd say SCi are back in the game and the jury is out again.
PS Bid rumours - *yawn*|
|The only hope is somone is daft enough to take them over at a premium to the current share price.|
|Ive just purchased a fair whack (for me at least). Positive IMS from Game group, good balance sheet, mid cycle for the games and as a present a software game is relatively cheap compared to the hardware. Can see gradual traction of the game over coming weeks, although US side does worry me a little. It would not surprise me if within 24 months this stock is taken over.
In at 19.15p
ALL IMO DYOR.|
|Not too bad from Chart track this week, TRU up to no. 7 in the charts with sales up 12%. No 5 on the PS3 and no 6 on Xbox 360, also moving up to no 21 on Wii. Hanging on in the top 10 up to Christmas would be pretty good.
Don't go with the top 40 all price chart, use the top 40 full price chart. That's a rise from #8 to #5|
