12/2/2017 16:05 | Ged, may well have a dip. Looking to get back into VOG and AMER also looks good. Worth reading Malcy's discussion with IG which was posted on the VOG thread, he smashed it out of the park last year. | broncowarrior
11/2/2017 16:12 | Hi Highly Geared, I'm also invested in ARS. Regarding JV in Moz, we are in a JV with Rio Tinto who have already agreed to 100% offtake from Mutamba asset. As Ged pointed out, our stake of the project increases as we hit milestones i.e. Scoping,PFS and FS. We will hold a 51% stake when complete on a tier 1 asset. Mining on this asset is due to start 2018 on the high grade part of the deposit first which will give quick payback that's why they are concentrating on Ravene first with super low cost capex extraction. 11/2/2017 13:46 | Thanks GED; much appreciated. | highly geared
11/2/2017 12:53 | At the moment SAV only have 10% but this will double next month on completion of the scoping study. It will eventually rise to 51%. There's also an offtake agreement with Rio Tinto. There are also some extra perks including full access to the "state of the art" laboratory in Mozambique and Rio's staff. There are also very low costs involved. For further details if you haven't read the December presentation it's on the front page of the website. hxxp://savannahresou David Archer gave an interview last week at mining Indaba. He stated scoping study in 4 or so weeks. Link is given in post 2574 | ged5
11/2/2017 11:59 | GED, further question on Mutamba, have SAV given any timescales on scoping study completion to provide a PEA so some NAV number can be ascribed? Thanks in advance. | highly geared
11/2/2017 11:54 | Thanks GED, much appreciated. I have a holding of ARS but the copper grades here look very impressive as well + they're well on board with the Oman govt.ARS has some gigantic assets but Indonesia is the risk factor. In terms of the heavy minerals asset here, any thoughts on end value to SAV?I know they're looking at a JV but any speculation on terms if the partner is putting up the funding? | highly geared
11/2/2017 10:55 | Early days for the Lithium projects Highly Geared. The ground was snow covered until March last year so drilling is likely to resume in April. There are 2 assay results which give great hope: 4.47% at Somero and 1.56% at Erajarvi. This may or may not become a great resource but personally I think it will take at least 2-3 years. By then if everything goes to plan the Oman copper mine and the THM (mainly Ilmenite at the moment) mine will be in production. You won't then be able to buy SAV at these low prices. If you're thinking of investing contact David Archer or Michael McGarty. Both respond and go out of their way to answer non price sensitive questions. Buying more here BW? Maybe the higher copper prices will be reflected in the share price next week! | ged5
10/2/2017 21:18 | Thanks Ged, made a few grand. Was 3 grand down last week so thought I'd bank a few today. | broncowarrior
10/2/2017 18:43 | Any news on when SAV will progress the Lithium asset to Resource Definition stage? Lithium the hot resource at the moment re: next 10-15 year demand projections. | highly geared
10/2/2017 17:42 | copper up 4% this afternoon and getting ready to enter a new trading range | seagullsslimjim
10/2/2017 11:00 | Hi yorkie, I read the posts over there but don't post. You will probably have read the link to the interview posted by richie but just for anyone who doesn't read the posts over there here it is:- Also last months presentation in Oman:- Hope you made plenty of profit on VOG BW Plenty to look forward to here very short term and throughout the year. This fella seems to deliver on what he says. | ged5
06/2/2017 21:46 | I'm a bit better on my iron ore than my copper, I'm not sure what the 23% concentrate means. Will do some research. | broncowarrior
06/2/2017 21:45 | Sorry, missed this today with all the VOG excitement. Looks good. | broncowarrior
06/2/2017 10:16 | Hi Ged, I do watch this space regularly but post more on LSE. Do think that this is about to have another go at 8/9p area shortly. GLA | yorkie14
06/2/2017 09:45 | 3 more tweets this morning:- Met testwork shows excellent #copper recoveries over 90% with highly saleable copper in concentrate over 23% for Mahab 4 deposit #Oman. Strong African mining message delivered by Bold Baatar, Chief Exec Energy & Minerals of our #Mutamba JV partner @RioTinto at #miningindaba. Bold Baatar: strength comes from partnerships – with customers, communities, investors & governments #MiningIndaba Probably there'll be more later when DA has spoken. | ged5
06/2/2017 09:20 | Well the number of posts following this latest RNS is totally underwhelming. There seems to be just the 2 of us looking in here regularly. Although on the face of it this seems to be very favourable and will strongly support the forthcoming Scoping Study, perhaps any knowledgeable lurker could explain the technical detail. | ged5

21/1/2017 09:32 | Good morning BW, My understanding is that DA has been in Oman and MMG has been in Mozambique this month. POD lives in Mozambique and apparantly is a very useful man to have working for the company there. So along with the rest of the team we have a lot goinng on behind the scenes. We should be receiving news on both fronts some time this quarter. Although I'm not really expecting the big news until the end of the quarter, I suppose we could hear about any drilling results much sooner as intimated by DA in the video. | ged5
20/1/2017 14:16 | Thanks Ged. Has been a quiet start to the news in terms of "official news" but good to see work going on behind the scenes. | broncowarrior
18/1/2017 14:46 | Well I think that's enough consolidation! Plenty going on. DA speaking in Oman Savannah Resources Retweeted Oman Mining Expo Scroll down the page Not the best quality video but you can hear him speak about more results soon. Earlier today:- @SavannahRes Fast track #Mutamba heavy mineral sands drill program for JORC #Ravene estimate continuing in #Mozambique Prices ↑ for mineral sands and industry expert @_TZMI_ increases price forecasts and sees supply deficit ↑ beyond 2018. Great for #Mutamba Big turn-out for mining company session at Oman Mining Expo @Omanmining in #Muscat yesterday. All on the website. | ged5 |
