Hi Dirty,I tried that approach recently and was stone-walled. Very simplistically we look to be paying £1,050 per acquired subscriber and 10%pa for the privilege.Of course, there are lots of complementary benefits especially with BDUK share, (assuming that programme survives some inevitable Government fiscal house-keeping, unless we have totally given up on that discipline....) and hopefully substantial synergy savings.I will try again. Cheers, tightfist

Perhaps you should email the company and ask.

One of my disappearing posts last week was expressing concern at the possible cost escalation in Acquiring Subscribers/Consumers.Has any other BB poster looked into it? Has anyone attempted a ROE or ROCE calculation on yesterday's Avonline acquisition? Also I was intrigued about the ~33% higher gross margins at Avonline? What gives?Cheers, tightfist

This should bring annual revenues to over £12m as of now and is not factoring in any new subscriber growth year on year for the next 5-8 years relative to the unsecured loan period.

Old £2m unsecured April 2016 loan note repaid.

New £9.6m unsecured loan with BGF.
Additional £2.4m unsecured loan convertible at 9p/share with BGF.
Total £12m in loan financing.

Capital repayments don't start until May 2021 - 5 years away.

To be repaid in full by 31st May 2024 - 8 years away.

Total redemption premium for the financing = £5.51m.

Option for BGF to subscribe for 74.0199m shares @ 9p base per share = £5.55m which would raise new capital or cover the redemption premium.

Avonline in the last 8 weeks took over IBUBs Irish satellite customer base.

SAT could grow pretty strongly over the next few years with economies of scale and the benefit of long term financing support for acquisitions as well as growing additional subscriber numbers.

Interestinh tightfist, you're right some posts have gone missing. Weird

Any way good day today, we should never have dropped that low in the first place.

We seem to have lost some posts on this thread from the last few days.Yesterday I posted enquiring about the unit cost of customer acquisition implied in the latest RNS announcement, on the face of it about £800. Am I missing something?Cheers, tightfist

Hi Dirty,

A great article, looks like there will be Government launch publicity this month. Clearly SAT anticipate gaining a large slice of the action.

Cheers, tightfist

Positive article, thanks.

Wondered about the £10m figure - is this the current maximum allocated to satellite out of BDUK?

Great article, shame about the shake out this morning. 11% on under a million shares bring traded, bit tragic....

Good to see they are recruiting a sales team for the Sentinel business solution... I don't think much has been made of this in any revenue projections, but clearly massive potential (and on-going recurring revenue)...

"Europasat wishes to appoint several regional, enthusiastic, ambitious people to its Business Telecom Sales Team to ensure that it continues to meet and exceed the targets achieved to date for its new Sentinel Product range."

The scale of the problem...

Well that's pretty black and white. Simple question - how many of the 300,000 homes in the UK (England and Scotland, Wales already has there scheme working well) can SAT sign up as customers? Who knows, but 25pc would be more than pleasing.

It would be so much better if ADVFN used more realistic spreads then we could tell the difference between buys and sells.

Today bid/offer is shown as 7.75/8.0 However real time prices show that the actual prices are 7.77/7.84.

So in fact the only sells are the two trades at 7.77 therefore the buy total should be 205,000 and the sells only 55,000 the correct spread would be better shown as 7.75/7.90
