now thay have started a 3rd shift making these solar roofing layers it would be nice to have more contracts announced. could they have stopped the contracts because they have sold all the production already for the year, i notice their guidance for next year is a 50% increase, this would tie in with 50% increase in production.
now if upc solar that cost a load of money for us could actually do something good from now on it would be nice as they only brought a couple of projects this year that we know of.

The Walmart job was awarded to elsewhere if I recall.

Plenty of other opportunities for SIT though.

SOLAR INTEGRATED ENJOYS CONTINUED SUCCESS SELLING INTO U.S. FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT PROJECTS

- Wins Three More Deals Totaling U.S.$2.6 Million -

London, UK and Los Angeles, California, November 6, 2007 - Solar Integrated
Technologies, Inc. (AIM:SIT.LN), a leading provider of building integrated
photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing systems, announced today that it has been awarded
three new contracts to supply and install innovative BIPV roofing systems for
three separate U.S. federal government projects. The three projects total
U.S.$2.6 million and include BIPV roofing systems to be installed at a U.S. Navy
base in California, a U.S. Marine Corps base in Hawaii, and a federal government
building in New Mexico.

"We continue to enjoy success selling into U.S. federal government projects,"
stated R. Randall MacEwen, President & CEO of Solar Integrated. "Including these
three new projects, we have now booked over U.S.$12 million of business for U.S.
federal government projects. We believe that we have the flagship reference
projects for U.S. federal government solar roofing installations."

"We are excited with the follow-on business and the growing interest by the U.S.
federal public sector in our 'no compromise' solar roofing systems," stated
Timothy L. Kehrli, Director, Government Sales of Solar Integrated. "We have a
'made in the U.S.A.' solar roofing product that locally generates clean solar
power resulting in reduced peak energy costs and reduced carbon dioxide
emissions. With our reference projects, we are well positioned to further
penetrate the attractive market segment for U.S. federal government solar
roofing projects."

Previous Solar Integrated contract wins for U.S. federal government solar
roofing projects have included:

* the sale and installation of a high-wind rated BIPV roofing system at
a U.S. Navy base in the South Pacific (2007);

* the sale and installation of a BIPV roofing system for the U.S.
General Services Administration (GSA) at the National Archives and
Records Administration (NARA) Murphy Federal Records Center in Waltham,
Massachusetts (2006); and

* two contracts from Honeywell Building Solutions, a leading global
energy services company, to install a BIPV roofing system on the Base
Exchange at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona (2005 and 2006).

fed rate cut may help with debts and as they export most of the panels it seems this year as new usa contracts have been invisible for months the weak dollar helps, doesnt effect us here holding as there are no dividends to be converted and they report in us$

It says they are "positioning the Company for profitability in 2008."

That sounds several steps below "we expect to be profitable" to me. That sort of weasely ambiguoys phrase annoys me.

Hi asparks, all I'm saying is that 15% margin on $80m is $12m profit, but expenses and admin costs were $12m in 1st half, so where's the profit?

James - that's certainly NOT what the results and various announcements have said. They are confident of 15% margin, and of profit I believe
