As further proof of the sort of "investor" that is buying these, 4 out of 6 buyers yesterday purchased stock in odd numbers.
The circular makes it quite clear that your holding needs to be in multiples of 5000 or they will round down on the consolidation.
Has anyone actually read the circular?

double6 - this is effectively an IPO for a company selling old coins.
Of course the initial value of stock will be broadly equivelant to cash and assets.

However, the value of the existing SMK shares is already fixed as announced in the circular.

I scanread it when it came out, to see if there was any chance of a quick killing and there wasn't, as the existing shares were still overvalued according to the terms of the deal.
I couldn't believe that the price didn't fall to current levels(or thereabouts) immediately after the announcement but I suppose this thread shows that very few people even attempted to reason out the equivelant value of a current share.

Your figure is still wrong and unless you can provide the correct figure you should not be advising people to buy this, as you clearly don't understand the terms of the deal.

For goodness sake -it has cash - it is raising more cash - it has a business which could well prove profitable - it is only currently valued at 200k - it has a lot more prospects than ZYZ and look at whats happening with that !!

godolphin - It may be over for us but I expect the directors (and city boys) all have lots of cheap or free options, nice salaries and want us to buy a share in someone's coin collection.

Third time lucky, perhaps(I believe they have already had two businesses go down the pan but I may be wrong as I only spent a couple of minutes researching this one)?????
How much value have they preserved for existing SMK holders?

Just thought I'd copy some of the remarks I made on the ZYZ thread since it is relevant to SMK.
The story of SMK is over as far as I'm concerned and it is pretty obvious just by reading the news that there isn't likely to be much happening. I mean you might as well buy some coins at an auction as get into SMK. IMHO etc.

Guys check out CRT - results were posted this morning - increased loss but T/O greatly increased - mentioned "MAJOR CONTRACT WINS" - COULD BE ONE TO WATCH!

double6 - You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. You have already incorrectly calculated the relationship between current shares and new shares.

Why not see if you can provide 3 correct answers to my post 14 just to show your followers that you can read and do sums.....

My mum has just bought £500 worth at 0.4p. There is profit as soon as they consolodate if they do not go up straight away.
