Notification of Transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

This notification relates to transactions notified in accordance with article 19(3) of the Market Abuse Regulation.

On 7 December 2017 the person named below, who is a member of the Executive Committee of The Sage Group plc., was granted awards over ordinary shares of 1(4/77) pence each in The Sage Group plc. under The Sage Group Restricted Share Plan. The maximum number of shares that may be acquired on the vesting of the award is specified opposite the participants' name. No price is payable either on the grant or vesting of an award. The awards will normally vest, subject to the satisfaction of performance conditions and continued employment, 50 per cent. on the first anniversary of the appointment date (which will be 9 October 2018) and 50 per cent. on the second Anniversary of the appointment date (which will be 9 October 2019). Awards are subject to malus and clawback.
