14/8/2014 16:36 | strong finish today, could we see 190 tomorrow............ | brian boru
12/8/2014 20:52 | Optomistic, I agree, I brought at the IPO and while the stock dipped, in the 'very short term' this is a long term play. Key factors - Ageing population Pension reform 1st mover advantage & market leader Take over possibility after the first set of results BUY & HOLD | natdavis667
12/8/2014 16:45 | Beginning to look a better buy at the flotation now, with the 400 sells being mopped up into firmer hands. No worries for me with SAGA. | optomistic
07/8/2014 21:19 | More likely to hit 150p first than 200p IMO. | monty panesar
30/7/2014 10:25 | An astute observation 1tit. | monkeywrench
29/7/2014 14:47 | Cos we all make mistakes lol | 1titch
29/7/2014 14:28 | pessimistic - watch it fly in October. | monkeywrench
24/7/2014 10:22 | ...and still they keep selling their 400's | optomistic
17/7/2014 08:57 | most sales are still in 400 lots, which indicate disgruntled "investors" off-loading their truncated allocations! | don leshone
14/7/2014 07:32 | Notice of Interim Results Saga plc announces that its Interim Results for the six months to 31 July 2014 will be released on Tuesday 30 September 2014 at 7:00am (UK time). Management will host a presentation for analysts on the day, details of which will follow | humphries1
05/7/2014 09:32 | Monty Panesar 4 Jul'14 - 22:03 - 358 of 358 ...I find their insurance far from expensive, I have my car and house insurance with them at substantial savings. | optomistic
04/7/2014 22:03 | Slowly but surely. Most IPO's go to discounts these days. Look at IEH today. They leave nothing to the next guys. Saga -no bus tokens to ride - SAGA Monty Panesar - 24 May 2014 - 20:08:30 - 125 of 358 At least the VC's didn't get to unload any of their shares on the grannies. I think these will drop to sub 150p in time. Their insurance is expensive. 1 | monty panesar
04/7/2014 16:37 | Not very clever . Were they one of the IPO sponsors? | shaka198
04/7/2014 12:41 | From last night's ADVFN Bulletin : UBS has initiated coverage of Saga with a 'neutral' rating, saying it is cautious on near-term newsflow despite the company's "unique exposure to a growing demographic". While it does have competitive advantages, the bank said it is uncertain how the brand will "age in the digital world". The bank gave a 177p target for the share price, was trading around this level on Thursday morning. In here from the off, for the long term, maybe not that long as I'm one of their customers! Hey ho, where's that book on memory improvement .... | samwn1
23/6/2014 17:40 | I may buy at 140. Good luck | 123qwer
21/6/2014 08:33 | Cheers opto. As always its easy to look back and think that I should have applied for more. But its just luck really that I got more TSB than this one. I suppose the key lesson is that Lloyds were selling because they had to, Saga was sold because they wanted to. | dr biotech
20/6/2014 17:01 | Dr B been out all day so a bit late on saying well done with TSB, always good to get a nice little earner :-) | optomistic
20/6/2014 09:30 | FWIW TSB turned out OK - out already made about 950. Not a life changing amount, but it lifts my depression a touch. Pays for a dart board and a picture of suarez | dr biotech
19/6/2014 10:59 | I use HL for saga and had the change returned the same day. Its not something that worries me. I mean its not as if I am losing interest on it. I have applied for 7k each for me and mrs. Current price range would have it valued at 1.3bn, Grey market price (IG) is 1.57bn so 10% may not be unreasonable. Just hope I get enough. But I also thought that about this one. Have to be optomistic :-) | dr biotech
19/6/2014 10:10 | Good luck there Dr B, should prove to be more profitable than this. Although talk is of small allocations so if it is anything like SAGA it could take some time for the unused cash to come back into the accounts. | optomistic
19/6/2014 10:03 | Have moved on to TSB...until this time tomorrow. | dr biotech
19/6/2014 10:03 | It's early days yet but the placing must be proving to be a huge disappointment for many. | optomistic |
