19/1/2013 08:41 | Such a big percentage drop on Friday's trading given the tiny number of trades executed! What gives, any ideas anyone? | heyho2
17/1/2013 17:42 | It would be nice MAS. Maybe its the long awaited major contract that Amati were were on about in their summer newsletters or maybe a post year end trading statement. Of course it maybe nothing more than a few buyers purchasing because the share price started to rise. Hopefully we will find out soon. | joesoap3
17/1/2013 17:08 | Hmmm....looks like some news may have leaked with 20 transactions - virtually all buys - in the last 2 hours of trading. Perhaps there will be an RNS issued tomorrow ! | masurenguy
17/1/2013 16:48 | well that was interesting. I know a small amount of buying has a disproportionate affect on the share price, but something is afoot and its not 12". Maybe a post year end statement????? | joesoap3
17/1/2013 15:30 | At last..?????? ;-) | pj 1
12/1/2013 01:02 | Hello....Anybody here? | djohnsa
26/12/2012 16:49 | JS - I remain long and strong here. I'm not influenced by short term sentiment which does not reflect fundamental values. It was very overpriced on the April spike above 60p and is probably very fairly valued on that basis at the moment if you assume that full year profits will be in the region of £500K. However a few large contracts could easily send the price rocketing north again and people who exit now will miss the boat since with low share liquidity the price here can be very volatile. I see this as a long term hold and I'm not bothered about short term noise or price falls that are just due to boredom or inactivity. The existing sales pipeline of £9.5m is the equivalent of around 4 years sales and they have plenty of scope to increase that over the next few months. If the shareprice drops again below 30p I will be adding further to my existing position. | masurenguy
24/12/2012 21:02 | MAS- if you are still in this, what is your view? | joesoap3
24/12/2012 21:01 | well to be honest I am very disappointed in this. I bought early 2010 and now almost 3 years later the share price is the same as I bought at. Yes I could have sold on the spikes and bought on the troughs but investing is about longer term for me. I will give it 12 months and if no progress in the SP, I will move on. But I am am disappointed | joesoap3
21/12/2012 11:42 | No tender announcements and as we are now in the budgeting season I suspect some on hold. No news can be good news so we must still be in the Boxing Ring..... | pj 1
31/10/2012 10:21 | No problem, thanks for the replies, as I said I do ''struggle'' with them... | pj 1
31/10/2012 09:43 | Mas absolutely agree with you! | qvg
31/10/2012 09:31 | PJ 1 - 233: What happens if the share price is 60p in x6 months and order book increased. Would that not de-motivate as the ''award'' is already ''won'' with no further bonus? Why would she be 'demotivated' ? First of all she will draw fees as an NXD as long as she is in that role and a key factor in that context will be whether the company remains in business as an independent entity during that timeframe. Secondly, those options are worth £5k @60p, £41.7k @100p and £87.6k @150p. I would consider that this provides an adequate risk free financial 'motivation' and reward for an NXD ! | masurenguy
31/10/2012 08:41 | I always struggle with these awards/ incentives. 60% over 3 years, especially as they have current tenders which could double revenues (imagine what that would do for the eps and share price if half are won?) What happens if the share price is 60p in x6 months and order book increased. Would that not de-motivate as the ''award'' is already ''won'' with no further bonus? (I am ex manufacturing and often found this to be the case) Thoughts?? | pj 1
31/10/2012 08:35 | Mas I totally agree. The incentive is now there to work hard, drive sales, which increases profit and thereby the share price also. Presumably, more work will mean they create more jobs and in turn more taxes for the government. We all win. Perhaps Alan O'Brien et al should run our Governemnt and the European Union!!!!! | joesoap3
31/10/2012 07:45 | Now these are the kind of director share option awards that I really like to see ! "Sabien Technology Group announces that it has made a grant of share options to Mrs Miriam Maes, a director of the company. The number of options granted is 91,743 at an exercise price of 54.5p exercisable after 3 years from the date of grant (30 October 2012). The closing price of Sabien Technology Group Plc shares on 29 October 2012 was 34.5p." The exercise price of these options will only be triggered after a 60% increase in the current share price and therefore will be "earned" as a consequence of growth in sales and profits within the business over the next 3 years. This is the kind of standard that I would like to see other companioes adopt especially those who offer options at nil cost or at prices lower or on a par with the closing shareprice on the date that the options are granted. This also reflects well upon management since they are also aligning the criterion for their own financial return with that of the external shareholder. | masurenguy
25/10/2012 14:45 | Thanks for that MAS. Let's just hope the negotations with whoever it was that Amati referred to is still ongoing. This needs some good news to get the interest going again | joesoap3
23/10/2012 14:35 | joesoap3 - 4 Oct'12 - 220: It will be interesting to read Amati's October issue to see what they have to say about the large tender that was expected to be announced in September. Amati make no reference to Sabien in their September portfolio review but show them as representing 4.5% of their total investment fund which is easily their largest individual stock holding. | masurenguy
18/10/2012 08:40 | It's a Buy - the maximum currently available to buy online is just 5,000 @34.5p | masurenguy
18/10/2012 08:28 | Lets hope so although the mid price so could be either side of the fence. Tenders? | pj 1
18/10/2012 08:23 | Someone likes Miriam Maes as the new Chair-elect appointment, buying 100,000 @34.5p this morning. | masurenguy
09/10/2012 17:22 | Either someone is getting cold feet or Inst. transfer? | pj 1
07/10/2012 08:48 | I am unsure of the Tender process here. However, usually within the Insurance Industry being the last to hear the ''award'' is usually very good News. | pj 1
06/10/2012 17:55 | Probably a couple of weeks before the Amati September report is released - it's usually circulated in the middle of the month. I noted the correlating information that was also included in last Mondays results announcement which indicates that one or more substantial public sector contracts could be imminent. "The Group continues to participate in and track a number of significant public sector tender opportunities which, if awarded, are expected to produce revenues in excess of our recent annual turnover. However the exact timings of orders and the resultant cash flows are not certain at this time." Any news on landing any of these significant contracts will obviously come directly from the company in the form of an RNS and not from any Amati monthly review. | masurenguy |
