23/7/2010 17:16 | Moving nicely over last few days towards results next week. Whether to sell prior to,or to hold for is the decision. We have already been warned of reduced turnover, so I would hope that is in the current price but I am thinking it may take a slice of unexpected upside to tip it beyond 200p. Any thoughts?. regards | peaeff
02/7/2010 17:48 | Back down to cheapish levels and support again. But there are so many other bargains about at present. | deadly
20/5/2010 14:39 | Getting to the stage where I could well buy back in. I shall let the dust settle on the new alliance/market effect. May well dip below 190p and that I feel would be a bargain. | peaeff
03/5/2010 00:38 | Deadly I totally agree, after reading the update I felt sure this was, for the time being at least, heading south. Perhaps something will happen early this coming week which may indicate why. | peaeff
30/4/2010 17:39 | bizarre performance today against the market and broker downgrade target 180p. Yesterday's IMS nothing to get excited about: "As previously indicated, the first half of the current year will show significantly reduced profit compared to the same period last year, when trading conditions were generally better." | deadly
30/4/2010 16:06 | well.... in my experience, you need to consider the theoretical technical factors in the light of the stock itself - liquidity, amount of coverage, etc. so if this was apple, i'd agree with you. but this is a stock for long term investors primarily i would guess and so perhaps the time is longer for investors behaviours to develop (represented by the chart) similarly, lower cap stocks tend to over and undershoot their theoretical targets anyway, it does look like it broke out to me | wcjan26
28/4/2010 06:59 | Flags are very short term features, occurring during the fevered phase of a bull market and typically lasting 2-3 weeks. That's no flag. | indieman
27/4/2010 09:19 | decent looking bull flag on the chart here - has been forming since last july looks very promising for a significant move higher | wcjan26
27/4/2010 09:17 | Mida5 Sold all yesterday 219.86 so at present I'm quite happy. Won't be sorry to see a nice pull back though. | peaeff
26/4/2010 19:16 | Peaeff - for what its worth, I have banked a profit on half my holdings just in case we get a pull back later on in the week. Regards | mida5
24/4/2010 14:58 | The two questions I am asking myself is, will we go throgh 220p prior to update and if we do should I sell and wait for a pullback?. Our management tend to err on the side of caution when making announcements which could cause a temporary blip. Any views. Regards | peaeff
21/4/2010 16:46 | 999 The information you are imparting tends to point to the fact the you are very well informed or perhaps an employee. What you say is very interesting so, if true, can we all look forward to a special dividend at some future date. Could that be the reason for the share price increase. Regards | peaeff
19/4/2010 16:03 | Paeff the OD in London was a mjor fee earner and the offfice reputation was effectively built on his experience and knowledge of the planning system. the rest of the office was not that productive in winning work, i guess time will tell. but my guess is that if another company is set up competeing against the London Office then i guess RPS will lose more than £500k without a doubt. the other intresting point is that RPS may look to sell the planning section of the group off in which case it may just concentrate on Energy whihc seems where most of the money was.. | 999rp
18/4/2010 21:12 | 999RP It will be intresting to see the Group's first Interim Management Statement on 29 April 2010. Regards | mida5
18/4/2010 12:05 | 999 Do you have any more detail as to why he has resigned?, or why they have merged 2 offices in the same area?. Could the redundancies be by mutual consent?. Why exactly should slimming down the workforce cause a company to 'hit the buffers'?. It's far more likely to have saved them £500,000 a year. Regards | peaeff
16/4/2010 13:18 | just heard that the OD from the leading planning office of RPS London has resigned, this on top of a very respectabel board member and the merging of 2 of the Bristol offices into one with the loss of another good OD, it looks like there is nothing posted on news, Supprising as they made a lot of good people redundant, i dont know whats going on with the company share price, ut surely RPS will hit the buffers soon, lts see what happens. | 999rp
11/4/2010 21:48 | Only a couple of upgrades since the results in early March, but they had been seriously over sold. | mida5
11/4/2010 10:53 | This one has firmed up substantially in recent weeks. Has anything fundamental changed? | ygor705
22/3/2010 21:58 | 17th March RPS raised to buy from add at Numis, target price 229p | mida5
16/3/2010 21:40 | 15-Mar-10 WH-Ireland Buy 177.00p - RPS - Upgrade Some good news, after all those Director share sales yesterday | mida5
04/3/2010 07:31 | someone disposed of a fair few yesterday, and the price drop could have been something to do with that also. Now it has cleared we may be on the rise again. | peaeff
03/3/2010 18:59 | I agree deadly, very positive from Australia. Hopefully we will see some upgrades by Friday. | mida5
03/3/2010 17:01 | After being under pressure today finished positive. The recent drop wasn't justified and I've topped up. Australia is booming and driving RPS profits from resources. I can see that continuing. | deadly
03/3/2010 09:45 | I agree, results very promising in view of current climate. However, it is galling to me that it sank 20p just before results, and they keep trying to tell us that PI's are on a level playing field. No leaks-Dream on. Happy to hold. | peaeff |
