10/12/2015 17:25 | Or are they just all going to Lidl and Aldi because so many people are skint? | lefrene
10/12/2015 16:39 | Exotic That's interesting, I dabble a bit on ebay and have noticed the same thing, thought it was just me! | wipo1
10/12/2015 14:10 | If it's anything to go by, my online Christmas sales are down massively this year. They started in November, peaked around Black Friday, then dramatically dropped off a cliff. The first 10 days of November had 400% more sales than the first 10 days of December. I'm hoping there's two types of shoppers: (1) Those who are organised and buy early and during Black Friday, and (2) those who leave it to the last minute. Will have to wait and see if type 2 appears later, but so far this is a very disappointing Christmas. | exotic
10/12/2015 09:03 | There's no sign of any severe weather in the run up to Christmas that would affect mail delivery. Fuel costs for transport are much lower now so this should be good news for RMG. | crystball
10/12/2015 08:35 | Will it have a good christmas? | netcurtains
07/12/2015 14:49 | Tonio: Yes online shopping is booming. I am surprised by Ubs note on Royal mail saying revenue growth sluggish. | wipo1
04/12/2015 13:50 | Just checked tracking on parcel due today from parcelpost, it has been put on van from local depot for delivery. There was this message: 'Another very busy night of high volumes that we have received and successfully processed. All our drivers are out collecting and delivering as normal today.' Generalising from the particular I know, but it doesn't sound like bad news for RMG. | tonio
01/12/2015 13:50 | Rising divi in Jan. | freddie ferret
01/12/2015 09:42 | Well done guys. I am still not convinced by any growth story here, that is why I prefer other shares. But well done, cash some in for Christmas. | minerve
01/12/2015 09:05 | Maybe RMG, like BT, is droning on to the £5 level. Perhaps the humming sound is generated by the contented shareholders. | tonio
01/12/2015 01:18 | Let's all buy rolls royce or tesco perhaps? Or maybe diageo? What a party | mbmiah
30/11/2015 20:12 | What did happen to the price? | minerve
30/11/2015 17:43 | So what happened to the price! | samartin
30/11/2015 12:06 | LOL Amazon is going to get you...... Where is the entrepreneurialism at RMG? If they are going to compete they are going to have to invest in this type of new technology IF it happens. I do, to be fair, have my doubts. I'd love to see the same advert on a windy, wet and blustery day like yesterday. LOL | minerve
30/11/2015 11:57 | Published on 29 Nov 2015... ....1,348,303 hits .....mugs! | exotic
30/11/2015 11:37 | Oh dear! Has the great man really fallen so far? I don't know how he managed to keep a straight face. Well if it works for Amazon it'll work for RMG but, were those really rotating blades I saw on that device? Maybe for an extra charge it will trim the lawn - sorry 'landing zone'- as well, not to mention your finger nails. | oiht
30/11/2015 09:46 | Just to bring a bit of life to this desultory board: | tonio
23/11/2015 18:39 | Indeed, very pleasant. | oiht
23/11/2015 17:05 | How plesant of you O | ccraig69
23/11/2015 13:38 | Nice, thanks. Too lazy to find out for myself! | oiht
23/11/2015 10:16 | Have they declared the amount of the next dividend yet? | oiht
23/11/2015 10:13 | More gnashing of teeth this morning I detect. :-) | oiht
20/11/2015 19:07 | A good week, shucks it's a good few years that interests me. Like all privatisations the overhang of public ownership takes a good while to slough off - for RMG, which has only just been fully released, it's still well in progress.I imagine it'll all evolve to some sort of merger very long term but it'll be interesting to see. Can't say I love our postman, but he and his mates have never let us down. Of course, I'm really waiting for the 'Back to the future' moment when he/she/it together with techno-pram float by on gravity-neutralising skateboards and flip off our parcels to the garden robot! | tonio |
