20/11/2015 16:51 | Well done RMG investors this week. A good week for you! In hindsight I think the upwards momentum this week, in addition to better market sentiment, has been the bad news out of competitors. Against the sanguine results out of Royal Mail they both make a positive signal. Not sure what the upside is. National Grid yield almost exactly the same. Is this stock a bond proxy like NG? Only time will tell. As interest rates rise, and commodity and oil prices stabilise, the real fun starts to happen on low-growth high -yield stocks. Bear this in mind. Have a great weekend postie lovers..... | minerve

19/11/2015 09:31 | Oiht I don't want it to fail! I just don't value it as highly as others and I am concerned about Amazon. These results are best described as what others have put "Hmmmmm". Mediocre. Remember the UK is in a 'sweet spot' - growth with zip interest rates. There could be some left-overs in the letter side from the election. They have had the opportunity to take business from those that have ceased and we get this. Hmmmmmm. What is going to happen when people can no longer continue to spend the same amount of endless credit on parcel delivered items? Is Europe going to pick-up the slack? I don't think so. The share price is up on the acquisition, not the results, in my opinion. | minerve
