Le risque est grand que Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.LN), encore en pleine transformation stratégique, doive comptabiliser de nouvelles charges de dépréciation, affirme Suvi Kosonen, analyste crédit chez ING. Les résultats du premier trimestre de la banque britannique ont été pénalisés par un versement exceptionnel au profit de l'Etat britannique, qui permet à RBS de distribuer de nouveau des dividendes à ses actionnaires. Néanmoins, la situation financière de RBS reste robuste, avec un ratio de fonds propres CET1 de 14,6% au premier trimestre, contre 15,5% fin 2015. La baisse est imputable à hauteur de 50 points de base au paiement à l'Etat britannique, précise l'analyste. Le titre perd 1,4%, à 241 pence.
