Good to see a little buying after the placing RNS

Only just spotted the RNS re the placing of 1.6M shares @ 28pps - gratifying to see our Chairman shelling out C£85K for about 18% of them.

That should really offer encouragement to the mkt to underpin our advance towards 40p.

Interesting to see a slight retracement so far; I see only modest buys so far, which presumably indicates a chunkier sell order from a PTer.

Overall this is showing all the signs of staying in the 30s and rising towards 40p, where the Forward PERs would remain in low single figures

Also, Edison have reviewed the acqn - should anyone like a copy of the report, I'll be happy to post it. The nub of the report closes with

"If we place the shares on a 25% discount on a P/E basis, this would imply a price of 55p per share at a small premium on EV/EBITDA."

Just grabbed another 10K@29p.

Currently PER4.1 for FYENov11
PER3.1 for FYENov12

They're forecasting a divi of 3.5% for each of the above.

Obviously, like all other transport operators they will be suffering fuel cost pressures, but to my mind today's acqn announcement suggests that operations are healthy and that they are not feeling the pinch too badly. What's more, theirs is a good cash generating business that could benefit from more bums on seats as quite a few people elect to use public transport instead of their own increasingly expensive private vehicles.
