Re this afternoons RNS: Interesting conversion price

"The conversion price is 67.5p per share which represents a premium of 13.4% to the closing mid-market price of 59.5p per Ordinary Share on 20 December 2007."

... and the source...

"The Placing of £250,000 of Loan Notes has been subscribed wholly by Ludgate
Investments Limited ("Ludgate"), a company of which John Gunn, Chairman of
Rotala, is deputy chairman and in which he has a shareholding interest."

... and good news for early next year with ROL winning £1.1m in new contracts together with an extra £960K of short term work for an existing major customer....

.... is anyone else still holding this or have I returned to talking to myself again ...?

Nice to have it confirmed that they've moved into month by month
profitability at the end of the accounting period.

not quite Brum ..... but a bus shelter story....:

The ambitious air-conditioned bus shelter project has started taking shape in Dubai, but commuters say they are too small to accommodate the increasing numbers of commuters.

Dubai is the first city in the world to offer the luxury of air-conditioned bus shelters for passengers. The aim is to lure people into using public transport, and ease the pressure on its crowded roads.

Only a small purchase (18,037 shares @55p) by Nicholas Kennedy (Non-executive Director) - but at least a 'positive' transaction.

They seem to be getting the branding sorted out better now..... ads for drivers in local press have Central Connect logo .... and the double-deckers now seem to be in white with Central Connect logo.... (they'll need to clean the outside of them more often than TWM otherwise white will show the dirt up nicely).

Hadn't looked at the web site recently since I posted the negative critisism of it a few months back. Now it looks very good for a company of this size.

From web site it appears significant shareholders (i.e >3%) hold 54% of shares.
Also see John Gunn (Non-executive Director and Chairman) is also a director of Corac Group plc - which is quite an interesting company as regards risk/reward prospects. Also the website is now under construction for that part of their operation. The website is already running.

DM-this is making nice and steady progress.

Equity Development have produced a report on the company which I think you can view on their website- www.equitydevelopment.co.uk -which suggests a conservative dcf fair value of 79p per share.

Happy reading

Well, as no one appears to be here except me then I'll amuse myself with other busses:

Well, given lack of any other posters recently on this thread, then can I presume I'm the only one still holding ROL stock?

'Nice' to see the Centro contracts (or extensions of).
ROL have been advertising regularly in local papers for drivers over the last month - so either there's a severe shortage of them in the West Mids or they need quite a few of 'em.

Foreign language students visiting the Isle of Wight are to be taught how to queue for buses. It comes after Southern Vectis, a local bus company, received complaints about students pushing past the queue.

Don,

Yes I remember the Bull Ring Bus Station well!! I used to have to catch the 130, 131 or 132 back to either Hasbury or Halesowen back WMPTE days....
I also remember those red leather seated fleetlines, you used to slide off the seat when going around a corner....
