26/8/2009 17:56 | There have never been any de-rampers on this thread, just people who asked you, asparks, to either back up what you said with facts or STFU. You wouldn't or couldn't back up your assertions & just continued with your juvenile ramping & airhead posts. You interpret any post not in line with your ramp as de-ramping. You are still talking far too much & saying pretty much nothing - just look at the frequency with which your name appears in this thread & the vacuity of what you post. I'm glad to see the share price recover but worry that it's on thin trading & with no recovery in the sector, just spin to back it up. | neilrr
26/8/2009 13:22 | Thanks aspers. Glad to be here and very impressed with what I've read over the last few days. The fact that none of the institutions seem to have reduced through the down times & bought way in excess of £1 per share, as have directors are all good indicators. I have bought in though because having researched all the "environmental" investements, this seems the least flawed and thus has the most potential IMHO. The fact that their solar glass charges from natural light and not just sun, means that the potential is huge......so forget the lithium battery packs, I will wait for the day when Romag PowerGlaz is fitted into the windscreens of cars and the energy fed directly to the battery so that it is recharging continuousy on natural light. Far fetched maybe, but who knows I also like the fact that they have anumber of strings to their bow - with environmental, defence, contruction etc, I see it as pretty well hedged for the future. Good luck! | louisr2
26/8/2009 12:59 | I see the ROM derampers have suddenly lost their voice. Muppets. | asparks

27/7/2009 11:06 | The article seems to imply that it is a Romag product being installed at this McDonalds, but presumably that is not in fact the case. Anyone able to clarify ? | tbow112
15/7/2009 17:08 | PowerPark in the US too: '...The first of McDonald's restaurants to offer the recharging service be in Cary, North Carolina' Enormous potential... | cbgb
15/7/2009 14:23 | The Times July 15 South West to become tidal and wind power hub Announcing the Low Carbon Industrial Strategy, Lord Mandelson said that the global market for low-carbon goods and services was already worth £3 trillion but could grow to £4.3 trillion by 2015 and may expand even faster if a climate change deal is reached in Copenhagen later this year. He said that the Government would help to fund a new wave and tidal energy demonstrator facility in Cornwall, Wave Hub, with a £30 million grant. There will be up to £15 million capital investment to establish a Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre and a £4 million expansion of the Manufacturing Advisory Service to provide specialist advice to industry on low-carbon opportunities. A further £10 million will be spent on acceleration of the infrastructure for charging electric vehicles. | masurenguy
25/6/2009 08:41 | Yeah Garbil - they must be delighted with the performance of this particular investment! Have you looked at the graph recently? | eisler
22/6/2009 09:06 | Minister: Embrace electric car market 8:44am Monday 22nd June 2009 NICK BROWN, Minister for the North-East, visited a glass company, which is developing technology that could be used in a future electric vehicle market, and again underlined the importance of the upcoming industry to the region. Mr Brown was visiting Romag in Consett, County Durham, on Friday, to see a solar car parking canopy it has developed, which could be used to charge electric cars while they are parked, using the sun's rays. He said that the development of such technologies by companies such as Romag had the potential to turn the North-East into a major player in the electric vehicle market, creating a significant number of jobs. | garbil
20/6/2009 09:30 | Oh dear. If only Schroders Investment Management had Eisler's in-depth knowledge of this business... And of a future with "no prospect for any recovery" They'd never have upped their stake here last week to over 5% of the company. Indeed, how the poor fools ever came to manage £103.1 billion of investments without the benefits of his prescience is a real mystery. | garbil
19/6/2009 18:38 | High risk punt even at these prices. Like you said, you could lose your shirt! Price less than 20% of what it was 18 months ago - and no prospect for any recovery in the sector. | eisler
15/6/2009 19:06 | hows yer short neil? | asparks
15/6/2009 18:48 | Held these for years and sold out at the peak for a tasty profit but have recently bought back in . only time will tell if i'm right that we will start to see an improvement in ROM,S fortunes. | battlebus
15/6/2009 16:20 | Looking at the share price graph for the last 6 mths, 12 mths OR ANY PREVIOUS PERIOD AT ALL would find many disagreeing with you battlebus. | neilrr |
