06/2/2017 08:01 | If I had to guess, probably something more mundane. Voting rights, share allotment or appointment of a director etc. It's a bit sloppy though. Doubt it's anything bad, given they are pleased to announce it. Edit: On their website it alludes to be something about the capital structure. | dr biotech

03/2/2017 10:30 | They could well be the worlds largest user of pallets, given their near $500bn turnover. Lets hope that gaining acceptance translates into gaining orders. Also an interesting article here about blockchain and tracking your supply lines from farms to stores. It would be an ideal used for the iot pallet, something that wooden pallets are just not suited too. hxxp://www.retailwir | dr biotech

02/2/2017 09:19 | It is the sort of market that we need to get into. It should be a regular supply where they ship often enough for the pallets to be in a closed loop. If you are shipping monthly or more frequently a reusable pallet that will last for years makes much more sense. | dr biotech

02/2/2017 08:06 | It only (imo) means that suppliers are allowed to use them - Not that they have to. Unless pressure from the retailer to use it will be down to the suppliers to do their own sums and determine if it is in their own interests to do so. Jury still out. | pugugly

03/1/2017 22:22 | Production was certainly the problem last year. If management is to be believed then all this years production has already been allocated. Moving forward they would want a mix of sales and rental. Without knowing the margins it's hard to say what ratio. In my previous job there were plenty of customers that specified non wood packaging - finding these in closed loop systems will be the key. They did allude to a deal that was under signature for $1m pm. That was some months ago. I'd like an update on that. Whether the customer has got cold feet, or is awaiting samples from he new facility or was one of the deals recently released I'd like to know. That would help with cash flow and to raise financing for a pallet pool. The iot thing is interesting, but we will have to see what the demand is. There is no point adding a tracker to a single or low use pallet so they should have less competition for those. The next three months will be crucial for production, the next six will judge whether the product is up to scratch, the next 18 will then be a judge of commercial success or not. In my mind it's a 50:50 chance to make 4-5 times my original investment. A gamble, but I like the odds. | dr biotech
03/1/2017 18:14 | Production (imo) is not the major problem. Major problem appears to be trade acceptance - management of pallet pool - and what appears to be failure of rental business model and forced acceptance of pallet sales rathr than rental - This - in principle is likely to redeuce net revenue but is very much more caspital light - However coy does not supply sufficient data (imo) for me to compute likely bottom line results. | pugugly

03/1/2017 13:02 | Not allowed to use wooden pallets in multiple different applications. They are a problem, not to mention the environmental costs. But I've mentioned that multiple times, monty is a bit too thick to understand. | dr biotech |
