13/6/2008 08:01 | After the two placings TMP will only hold 22.51% not 25.42% as the RNS suggests. After placing there will be 1,902,371,072 current ordinary shares in RVD, so the 285,000,000 currently held by TMP will represent 14.98%. Once TMP purchase a further 143,290,000 shares this will take there holding to 428290000 or 22.51%. The first lot of placing of new RVD shares will take place on or before the 13th June (130,294,118) and the latest lot on the or before the 16th June (70,588,235). TMP do not need to take all the shares from the placings (200,882,353 total) to fulfil there requirements. Unless they have bought from market below 4.25 the RNS suggests IMO that TMP will take up these new shares on or before the 16th June. | rokkie
12/6/2008 14:54 | from the RNS (08/05/2008), "Templar agreed to purchase a further 143,290,000 ordinary shares in River Diamonds", so i would say probably yes, although i would have thought that they would have also taken some via the two recent share placings. | rokkie
12/6/2008 13:18 | do you think that is TMP buying their further shares? | timanglin
12/6/2008 12:06 | No comments about the two 12 million share trades just gone through. SHOULD BE DUE A TICK UP SOON. | oilyrag
11/6/2008 20:58 | 6iain i totally agree, also required is some momentum via an Rns that would certainly boost confidence, which at the moment it lacks.....hence its current price i am a holder and will wait to top up as and when the news breaks good luck too all who hold, | bellonero
11/6/2008 19:06 | BELLONERO Not a feeling in my water at all.........DYOR on RVD/TMP... Selling undervalued shares in a gold mine just before it's about to start producing and with gold prices at what they are would make anyone weep!!!! Unles you're a MM thats buying them!!! | 6iain
10/6/2008 21:08 | 6iain on what do you base your prediction, or is it just a feeling in your water? please share ! | bellonero
10/6/2008 20:31 | "Hold and Reap... Sell and Weap"............We all know whats coming soon with RVD, would be even bigger with some positive news on the licence/diamonds in Panguma!!! | 6iain
09/6/2008 18:36 | I have recently started investing in RVD via TMP. You've probably all read the readmission document on the RVD website, which says (p24) in block capitals that RVD is a speculative investment involving a high degree of risk. There are large potential liabilities of the mine arising from the losses incurred during the previous ownership; RVD seems to be disputing some of these but might ultimately have to pay up. RVD also has to incur large running costs for labour and materials prior to ramping up production from a closed down mine. Set against that, these placings are very positive for the company, ensuring its survival until production covers running costs. So while there is some dilution for existing shareholders, I am very happy to see these placings and they will persuade me to invest further in future. My very limited knowledge of the mine is that it offers tremendous scope for development, and it appears that Lenigas has previous work experience there, which is also very good news. | tim00
09/6/2008 18:03 | What does this RNS mean for tomorrow???, more shares in issue, time they started to show something for it. | regandjess

03/6/2008 20:35 | Another down day...don't understand why people are selling when the investment in the mine is about to produce the results.Thats the gold!! Now the diamonds...does anyone have an idea of how long it normally takes for a license to be granted...I am refering to our mine in Panguma. It seems a waste to spend millions on a mine which we know has diamonds and just let the license to lapse. I know that the Company's interest diverted to Fiji for good reasons but now with the generated revenue from fiji, it would make sense to reinvest in Panguma. | bigloser |
