vast majority of current holders are 3% plus people - directors and other "loan note conversion" people - not too many punters after that. I assumed that they knew the story i.e. they were privy to what was going on / what was likely to happen from a positive point of view - i.e. a good news story.

Also no open offer - deal on new share issue already tied up with institutional taker/s

puzzling question has been and remains "why didn't punters sell and buy back post 25 February at 0.0075?"

I believed it was a liquidity thing post feb 25 - i.e. parties privy to possible "good news story" agreed not to sell for certain period of time, therefore allowing share price stability - whereas new shares in the hand of punters would be offloaded on price hike etc...etc...

Then a few directors sold some, which koncked that reasoning on the head - if the story was good "why sell"

It is very strange!

Probably best just to wait until Friday and the months ahead to find out what is really going on, rather than trying to bang ones head of the wall trying to figure it out.

i have been scratching my head over that one for a while now - couldn't understand why the share price didn't find its way down to 0.0075 level fairly quickly -just assumed that there would not be too many shares available to punters post 25 February, then directors started selling and the head scratching intensified.

Not much clarity as to whats going on.

Hello Harry, whats the latest!

quite a bit of catching up to do from 0.0075.

I assume that we will all be working of this figure from friday - do you think they will come to the market with a bang on Friday or will it be a quiet debut

off topic but in the same sector

all the news does look very exciting for cenes -- its surprising that we are not seeing more buying this is because few brokers produce research on smaller company's like cenes to date --CeNeS still has over £11ml.cash and is now on the brink of completing a five year programe with its new pain relief drug developments --that should soon enable CEN to earn millions of $£'s over the next few years ----the city will eventually wake up to CEN or watch them get taken over by glaxo/smith kline or a u.s. major -its only a question of time before these shares go through the roof -- eventually having taken all the risks and costs in developing this latest drug --it now seems far to tempting a morsel for the major players not to act soon --as we are talking a billion plus world wide market for this pain relief drug thats an alternative to morphine and CeNeS is way way ahead of everyone else in the world -----the stakes are not very high at 8p a share --oh and the company is run by former glaxo executives so they are capable and know what they are doing --well worth a look in my humble opinion

yes i am bullish and i am a buyer --and i am talking my book because the shares are going one way -UP

Harry

If the company had a cure for drug addiction then I would be invested. Lot more addicts than schizophrenics, at least in my neck of the woods.

Agree not all drugs through NHS. However new ones will be. If to do with migraine will be at the serious end and not the minor end where most people buy over the counter remedies. Most of these work fairly well. Not saying I don't want to see a cure for migraine but at the moment almost all medications are for the actual attack and not to prevent it or permanentmly cure it.

Harry - Try Zyban. Very effective for nicotine.

ps. I checked out the story on CeNeS. Quite interesting.

not all drugs are dispensed through the nhs

How many people do you think suffer from migraine

possibilites that the drug / compound for schizophrenia may be used for diabetes

ultimately everything depends on how good the drug is

I have no investment in this company but have read Harry's views on other threads. A drug for Schizophrenia and migraine will not be a blockbuster and will only be used in a very small amount of patients. Therefore the cost will be quite high and that will have to be balanced against the effect on the patient. Cost has become an ever increasing factor in whether drugs can be dispensed on the NHS. That's why I have stayed out.
