23/3/2016 12:05 | Assault on precinct 4200? | toffeeman
06/3/2016 09:01 | Zpla zoopla more attractive in my opinion, more potential growth plus more dividend for your money. Dividend is just over 12 times the amount here but share price is a lot more than 12 times. | greco600
26/2/2016 11:25 | 1.3bn visits to the portal is a meaningless statistic - if every family in the UK visited that would represent 70 visits per family (and yes people moving to the UK will use it but not that many) - over one a week! So the majority of visits are from a smaller number visiting multiple times (I look regularly to see what is happening in the area in which I live) and obviously those looking to buy and sell their houses who will be heavy temporary visitors. Rightmove are the go-to site for property info and from a revenue perspective the key metrics are the number of agents and the number of properties they have on site as well as the ad rate they can charge. | toffeeman
26/2/2016 11:03 | Strong hold for me. In line with the industry’s expectations, Rightmove has announced its results declaring a record performance by almost every measure. There were a record 1.3 billion visits to the portal in 2015, a rise of 18 per cent or 200m over 2014. A record 49.8m leads were generated for advertisers - mostly agents of course - compared with 42.8m the year before, representing a rise of 16 per cent. Much of this extra business was down to the arrival of OnTheMarket; most of its member agents ‘dropped’ This morning Rightmove recognised that fact by issuing a statement saying “Rightmove is the only place where home-movers can search and research virtually the whole UK property market. This, along with Rightmove’s brand strength and culture of restless innovation, has helped to make the site even more compelling for both home-movers and customers.” hxxps://www.estateag | aishah
26/2/2016 08:14 | Finals are OK - growth slowing, but that is to be expected | toffeeman

10/2/2016 08:19 | sp back to fair value, a hold at least till results Axa boss (on Europe last wk) London still the best for commercial prop investment, edit 16/2 looking good today, considering rest of market might tank a bit, through 36quid by end of wk? no rate rise in site, so prop bubble keeps going nai | mike24
09/2/2016 12:19 | They are now below where I bought them in the August temporary crash - pure luck that my remaining holding comes from selling enough at 4049 to cover the initial investment so I can forget about the rump. I don't know what's going on here but it doesn't look very fragrant. | toffeeman
08/2/2016 15:25 | Whats happening here ? the fall seems to be picking up pace, next support should be around £32. Looking to get back in here but need to see a bottom. | wanttowin
08/2/2016 08:46 | Nope - but feeling smug! | toffeeman
07/2/2016 20:22 | Anyone know why right move dropped last week? | kitbag1984
04/2/2016 15:06 | Sometimes you just get lucky! | toffeeman
02/2/2016 13:35 | I decided that things are too uncertain and as the price has gone up 20% since I bought, I sold 80% at 40.49 and will forget about the remaining stock. So I didn't stick to my target of 42.95 but targets are just targets! | toffeeman
29/1/2016 15:57 | Most broker targets are north of £40. Nice opp. last few days to add. Wonder if we'll get a run up to results (27th Feb last year) | aishah
29/1/2016 15:44 | Price movements here are wonderfully stochastic! | toffeeman

14/1/2016 16:32 | wonder why the big selloff today ! | arja
14/1/2016 12:42 | my neighbour bragging about his btl rental income, suddenly gone quiet as the rent cheque bounced yesterday why buy if it might be cheaper tomorrow? if the mining companies had retained all the cash they spent on buybacks ( just enhances the value for the few) they wouldn't now be at risk from asset stripping to save the companies b/Hathaway has not wasted money on buybacks, but alternative investments have spread the risks and more important hedged currency depreciation, all companies should have alternative investments/cash to cover/reduce debts London's off plan, deposit down, contract signed, doesn't mean a thing if (mainly Chinese) foreign buyers can walk away as 1990 who was in charge during Canada's property bubble????????????? red flags seem to be popping up everywhere sp's need to come back to fair value, on lowered debt levels nai | mike24 |
