Video interview with CEO Bernard Olivier

Bernard Olivier, the chief executive officer of Richland Resources (LON:RLD), says the company decided it was better ‘to focus on a project that we believe will return us to profitability very shortly’.
Richland today revealed it has completed its exit from Tanzania with the receipt of US$5.1mln from new owner Sky Associates after security issues at its tanzanite mine.
The company is now focused on its Capricorn sapphire project in Queensland where first sales through its existing sight system are anticipated this half year.

goodbye tanzania and good riddance. Why 3rd world governments are so inept about securing their own interests is beyond me.

There seems to be some interest in their Graphite licences. AGM on Friday, they may make a statement.

And so it goes on. Curiouser & Curiouser, as Alice once remarked. I guess the potential revenue from flake graphite must b the reason for interest, as its the major component of a Lithium Ion battery & I guess Tesla will b needing quite a bit of that if their Gigafactory ever gets built.

So they are moving away from Tanzanite into Sapphires

When a share gets as low as this ... tiny lifts mean biggish %age rises

It would not surprise me to see a 50 for 1 consolidation here soon

But a POS still remains a POS despite the Gems it wears
