Market makers are certainly not keen in getting the small investor or regular trader interested here. Large spreads and the priced getting designer choked throughout the day, everyday.

When demand takes away the fear of an unrealistic offer price, we really could see something extra special happen here.

"Real profit" will take out any more resistance - we believe that has been achieved.

After my post above, Johnny boy quickly covered his acknowledgement to Gordon - his little slip lasted just over the hour.

"1gw, given the 'materially ahead of management expectations' you would hope that they would upgrade that guidance in H1..." lol upgrades on a weekly basis.

That has made us all laugh - Johnny boy let his guard down for an hour.

as they recently stated in H1 2017 TU that they were profitable in Aug/Sept, they also stated similar in Q3 2016 TU...

so previous fy2015 TU were not bleak..

1gw, given the 'materially ahead of management expectations' you would hope that they would upgrade that guidance in H1...
hopefully they will give fy revenue guidance as well...

I see that after many months and many claims by John John that the company never gives guidance - this being one of a half a dozen or so scaremongering tactics he uses, the slippery John has acknowledge he is wrong.

Gordon pointed out the error in his claim [1483] - John thanked him. "1gw, thanks"

Gordon - you are just about the only person that can get him to answer in some form.....Congratulations, you were very quickly thumbed up for achieving his acceptance.

Hopefully we will not be hearing him ask for the guidance once again, at least not until the end of this full year.

Yes - I think the corner is as strong as it is ever going to get....no point in wasting more time with the share price at this level....scaffolders are fascinated.

STT - the official guidance, as Alex references, comes from the full year results release (17th May 2016), where they state:

"The Company continues to anticipate that FY2017 will be a Period of revenue stabilization, with strong growth in Core revenues and a return to full year profitability1."

with footnote 1 reading
"On an adjusted EBITDA basis, which is a close proxy for cash flow from operations."

At the AGM, BigBear asked a question about this, stating as far as I can remember, that since the guidance didn't say how profitable they expected the year to be (i.e. it was a minimum not a maximum) then they could actually be expecting to be profitable on an IFRS basis as well. Ed took the question and was very clear that they were not expecting to be IFRS profitable. My notes say that he said they expect to be:

"slightly profitable on an adjusted EBITDA basis, below zero on IFRS profit" (this probably isn't an exact quote). He also said that they expected:
"$12m to $15m non-cash items this year."

So we've actually got pretty good profit guidance for the year, and because we now have an insight into 1H actuals, we can deduce things about their expectations (as of the AGM) for 2H, which was the point of my earlier post 1462.
