The 'experts' have been warning of choppy trade til this shakes out, maybe 1 to 2 weeks. Trade it if you are an expert, and I will, but dont buy or sell until the dust settles on this.

THe fall in USA is doing damage now.
Most shares have traded in a 5-6% swing today.
Wide fluctations will stay with us for a few more days

A final dividend in respect of 2006 of 6.90p per ordinary share, taking the full
year dividend to 11.0p, is to be proposed at the AGM on 26 April 2007. This 2006
final dividend is payable on 3 May 2007 to ordinary shareholders on the register
as at 16 March 2007.

Oh well, you can't win them all. The timing of the results seems to have helped too - "strong numbers" as Mr Glocer described them this morning, arriving at the same time as the dust starts settling after the last few days' bloodbath (apologies for the mixed metaphor).

My nerve went and I sold. Last year it went from 451 to 399 on results day so I'm quite sure, especially having sold, it will go from 435 to 470 tomorrow...

I still have plenty, I'm just buying a house and need to feed the ravening maw of Gordon's &$^"ing stamp duty.
