12/8/2016 16:15 | Well done to those that got in post brexit. I had my eye on these, but got too greedy, and was hoping for a lower entry point... | zcaprd7
12/8/2016 14:53 | Bend1pa, The business has remained very profitable and cash generative and this was ignored by the market as L4L declined, even though overall sales were going up. It was grossly oversold and clearly the city wanted to see a new broom. Clearly the city like the new guy and so can start looking at the fundamental business again. Going by the positivity from the brokers today, hopefully there is much more to come in share price appreciation. There is also the possibility of a bid as the right buyer will eek out a lot of synergies. That, I don't believe, has been baked in to the share price yet. Gary | gary1966
12/8/2016 14:47 | F&B has been a problem for years, yet the company has managed to turn out decent numbers for years. | adobbing
12/8/2016 14:43 | W-what happened! Strange how the problems at F&B and their over-reliance on restaurant business at retail parks have been totally forgotten about in 4 short months. That problem isn't going to disappear quickly no matter who replaces the CEO who did take his eye off the ball TBF. I see the new guy's a bookmaker. Ah well that's alright then...problem solved. Well at least the balance sheet was in good shape | bend1pa
12/8/2016 14:35 | some managers have sold-for me is a dilemma as i feel inclined to sell as well but others as above seem to think otherwise - any comments welcomed | ali47fish
12/8/2016 13:57 | FT Alphaville... Potential private equity and trade buyers will likely not lose interest until the share pricehas recovered. A trade buyer would have the advantage of having the managementand brands to help restructure the portfolio and it would also be able to capture the synergies of putting two businesses together. In our view – and as has been speculated in the press – the two strongest candidates for a potential take-over would be the Casual Dining Group (Café Rouge, Bella Italia) owned by Apollo Global Management and Gondola (Pizza Express and ASK Pizza) owned by China’s Honey Capital. | philanderer
12/8/2016 12:22 | Canaccord has upgraded RTN to buy with a target price of 550 from 276.They feel RTN deserves a higher rating with a valuation of 680p based on EBITDA.That's a big upgrade because they went from £4 to £2.76Think market was saying change the management no confidence! | tsmith2
12/8/2016 12:02 | Excellent appointment of the new CEO. share price has moved up in line with the expectation that he will turn around the company. IMHO, a US company will come in to buy RTN before the CEO comes in on 19th Sept. Volume from now on needs to be watched to see if there is anything brewing behind the doors. With sterling being so low, it makes sense for a US company to make their move before the new CEO steps in. Canaccord has upgraded RTN to buy with a target price of 550 from 276.They feel RTN deserves a higher rating with a valuation of 680p based on EBITDA. | hjs
