22/8/2011 16:29 | What is it that Kestrel/Royle/Gartmo | alimo
21/8/2011 17:27 | hi all. long time lurker, first time poster (hence the rather uninteresting user name). I bought into rnvo when I saw laxley buying in. Unfortunately I hold my shares in my isa so I'm a bit worried about what the implications of this move will be for my holding. Anyone out there know how this will work out? Ideally I'd like to hold out till the bitter end but I don't see how that would be legal. I'd rather not sell up now but it would be preferable to having my shares end up in some form of limbo where they've been de-listed and I can't hold the resultant AIM shares (I guess a compromise would be if I got my share of the buyback and my aim shares were immediately sold and the cash dumped back in my isa, but I really have no idea if that would be the case). | testuser123
21/8/2011 08:48 | Use the money to buy stakes in surgical innovations and judges scientific. Two excellent companies roughly in their area. Just become a holding company. | bigalan3
18/8/2011 17:34 | Yes it is great news, but we need to make sure we all go with the directors resoulutions, some people might just want the share buy back, thats not good, as shares can be bought back for as little as 10p it seems. | daytraders
18/8/2011 17:08 | I think the point it to re-structure the company legally to be able to do it first? As you can't spend any capital reserves without court approval, has to be revenue reserves, of which we have none! Seems good news to me, and more tax efficient than a special dividend. I actually think there is a strong shout to use our cash, take advantage of the hammering everything is taking and buy a small company which has bags of potential but no chance of funding, either in bio or O&G/mining..must be a lot in that situation at the moment | holly_dog
18/8/2011 17:00 | we just want what will give us the most money(value) in the end, i dont think share buy back will do that, shame there is no numbers in the rns that we can use. maybe the below is the best option, mind you they have alot of the votes needed already to pass what the directors recomends. · reduce the Company's capital by cancelling the amount standing to the credit of the share premium account and capitalising the amount standing to the credit of the merger reserve account by way of the issue of Capital Reduction Shares, and to cancel the Capital Reduction Shares, so as to create distributable reserves ("Capital Reduction"); and | daytraders
18/8/2011 16:28 | Any thoughts: 'Renovo Group plc ("Renovo" or the "Company") Following the announcement on 17 June 2011, Renovo is pleased to announce the publication today of a circular to shareholders regarding the Company's proposed restructuring plans (the "Circular"). On 3 March 2011, the Board announced that following the Phase III trial for Juvista® failing to meet its primary or secondary end points the Board was actively exploring all options to maximise shareholder value of the Company's cash and assets, including the possible sale of its clinical and preclinical programmes. In light of the above strategy, the Board is asking that shareholders vote on the resolutions set out in the Notice of General Meeting contained in the Circular to: · cancel the listing of the Ordinary Shares on the Official List of the UKLA and to cancel trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities (the "Delisting") and to seek admission to trading on AIM; · adopt New Articles of Association that are more appropriate for a company admitted to trading on AIM; · reduce the Company's capital by cancelling the amount standing to the credit of the share premium account and capitalising the amount standing to the credit of the merger reserve account by way of the issue of Capital Reduction Shares, and to cancel the Capital Reduction Shares, so as to create distributable reserves ("Capital Reduction"); and · approve the buyback of Ordinary Shares by the Company in the market ("Share Buy Back") and waive the requirement that Henderson Global Investors, as a result of the Share Buy Back, be obliged to make an offer for the Company pursuant to Rules 9 and 37 of the Takeover Code ("Rule 9 Waiver"). | bobbarker
15/8/2011 10:21 | I didnt do it but perhaps a smart move would be to put a limit order in for x amount at 13.5p so that if ever the market makers do one of their tree shakes again you can take advantage of it. This is why they do it really to knock out stops, knowing full well that people dont normally have buy orders sitting there waiting. | smith99
15/8/2011 08:09 | another 350k for Kestrel | mister md
11/8/2011 16:25 | some chunky buys at 14.5p this afternoon, e.g 150k at 4pm | mister md
09/8/2011 09:49 | Interesting thing about this drop is actually gives rnvo opp to buy a great asset very cheap - AIM has been totally clobbered. But they must not even been in talks nor results close at present given kestrel buying. I got my price so buying again | holly_dog
08/8/2011 20:13 | They musnt be in closed period if kestrel have been buying. Incredible resilience here. | holly_dog
08/8/2011 14:25 | well they know that there get a good return on cash alone, wish i had a chance to buy at 14.3p, did not realise it went that low last thursday. | daytraders
08/8/2011 14:09 | another Kestrel buy RNS'd today amid the market carnage... | mister md
04/8/2011 18:54 | i will buy more here at 14.5p for sure, but i dont think we will ever see that price again, even if markets collapse big time, alot of aim shares down 15%/20%+ just today, what ever happens the cash is still there, was tempted even to buy more at 15p but already have alot, and im down big time on my bzt investment, the mm's will lower the sale price just on the back of the general market falls, just hopeing to panic you in to selling, try not to fall for it. | daytraders
03/8/2011 19:03 | Was just looking at the trades, something went on with price dropping suddenly to 13.25 then straight back up and buying straight after..wonder is something about to happen | holly_dog
03/8/2011 16:28 | i wont use stops on a share that i know has more cash than market capital, a no loose share this is. | daytraders
03/8/2011 16:04 | Did anybody get caught out by some extraordinary MM fishing for stops? | holly_dog
02/8/2011 20:44 | So what do you reckon Ferguson actually 'did' last week. What did he do today for example? I'm wondering are we ever going to see any Juvidex or other IP sale... That said, this is really nice safe place to have money. To make my portfolio a bit more interesting, decided to buy into bank of ireland - been following and sitting on my hands for about 2 years now. tucked away in the drawer for 5 years. it has rnvo potential in terms of capital appreciation (+ and -!) | holly_dog |
