so the non exec directors whose job it is to oversee what the main directors are doing with the company have jumped ship and rva still haven't got the finiancing sorted, looks like chapter 11 bankruptcy may be coming soon

anyone know of an up to date major shareholder list, the rva website is so out of date as blackrock is listed as owning 7.5% instead of the 0 that they have now.

was trying to work out who is left and could have sold that big batch today 1,925,000 is about 6% of total shares. could only have been -
artimis . 10.53% / 3,440,000
saracen 7.76% / 2,535,000
framlington 7.41% / 2,420,800
rathbone brothers 6.12% / 2,000,000

or a director as they hold a large chunk so at least its in their interests to get a good deal
guess we find out next week with an rns.
i thought any holdings above 3% had to be notified on the website to comply with aim rules.

its good that the banks have agreed to suspend the immediate repayment of loans, theres a small article in the ethanol producer magazine about how small plants may be coming back into fashion due to them being so much closer to corn/whatever, markets for ethanol and water, some of the big 100mmg plants are struggling to transport everything economically.

would it surprise anyone if blackrock and merril lynch had been approached whilst rva was suspended to join a placing as they sold all the shares they held and will screw the company for new shares at a very low price

if they can banks will try and sell the asset
to get back their money

they are not interested in future earnings or
even shareholders.

RVA may be left as a minority holder of sweet b.a.

I was mostly out around 80+p as well, but kept some running for free nothing worth worring about

Will keep an eye on RVA, as it may not be the end as yet and would add on the right news

All the best !

Some insti will see a fantastic opportunity to make a fast buck here

Current M/cap £4m, wasn't that long ago RVA was a multiple of this

Any news of funding will set this upward again to make an easy profit for an institution for sure

Cheers Jack

60% complete seems a long way of completion, lets hope RVA had a well written contract and has over run penalty clauses built in

Lea Electric probably downed tools for that very reason. It is easier being a sub-contractor to walk a way with minor losses, but the main contractor will have to face the music

oh dear rva suspended, due to clarifing fianincial position, this is just after the results!!

DPS - dividend per share.

agree re reduced eps but that is at least a forecast based on current ethanol and corn prices. If industry margins improve, forecasts should improve significantly (for 09 anyway).

btw only 25% reduction in eps forecast for 09. Websites showing the 23.8p figure are just out of date (which is disgraceful but not exactly RVA's fault as their own website has been kept up to date). Current forward PE of close to 4 now.
