Well, although the news is bad, I'm hanging around. Forever the optimist I think I'll leave £3k there and see if there's a bounce back. Brave? Stupid? Only time will tell.

It was as I said that the trading statement should have been issued earlier.
Again those in the know were selling this morning!
I think the previous management should have to answer to the Fsa.
I do now think the co is in good hands going forward.

Well I hope most of you managed to grab profits before the RNS.....the one item to focus on is the fact that this company WILL recover and it will make a dramatic recovery imho.....but we need to see how they resolve the funding shortfall prior to entering....it continues to be a sit and wait game for me....just read your post DG.....I (luckily) managed to top slice a load of my holding when the price hit the late 80s 90s......I then sold the rest after the large seller appeared and price began to fall rapidly......so as it would now appear luck was for once on my side!! Debt sector remains a profitable sector in todays economy imho......results from FRP underlines this....it now appears that the previous management here were inept.....I have to say that the statement made at the time of the interims must border on the illegal knowing what we do now...if that was not creating a false market I don't know what is!!! Good luck all!

Looks like the previous management were not only incompetant but potentially mis-led the market with their optimistic figures and statements at the half year. Also looks like either the incoming management have uncovered nasties in the woodpile or the chairman, having uncovered or been suspicious of nasties, moved to replace the senior team. Let's hope that the new management have gone into this with their eyes open.

My broker could not get my £5k's worth on Monday at the 20p limit I set but only told me today when I rang this morning to tell him to sell them. I have thus inadvertantly missed out on losing money. Not my style at all!!
