28/2/2005 08:14 | bad news again!! marked down to 48.5p "Reed Health, a provider of staffing services in the Health, Social Care and Education sectors, is providing an update on trading ahead of its interim results for the period ended 31 December 2004, which will be announced on Tuesday 22 March 2005. As a consequence of continuing difficult trading conditions in a number of the Group's operations it is anticipated that the results for the year ending 30 June 2005 will be significantly below current market expectations. A further update will be provided at the time the interim results are announced." rather a bald statement compared to tjhe last profits warning | schober

21/2/2005 10:07 | these are cheap, would have liked to have seen some indication as to when the interims are, as last year they we this week. net profit should be around 30/40% better than last year and the p/e for the current year looks to be about 5 | empirestate
13/2/2005 17:56 | Cheap and unloved at current levels. If a trading statement does come out and is on target then I can see these at over £1.00 It appears as though Reed suffered from one off IT integration costs last years and had to defer a lot of income to this year. Turnover was down as well and there is mroe competition out there but these are trading at way below what they should be in my opinion. | jangaman
10/2/2005 19:27 | don't follow Mujaahid2. Do you mean forecast to reach 126? interim results in 2 weeks. wonder if we'll see a trading update in 1 week like last year? | jhan66
10/2/2005 16:45 | End of year reed is touching 126p , independent advisor. | mujahid2
27/10/2004 09:35 | any significance in this? Reed Health Group announces that Lord Tom Sawyer, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has informed the Board that he does not intend to seek re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting, to be held on 25 November 2004. He will therefore stand down from the Board following the Annual General Meeting. The Board propose to appoint Derek Beal as a Non-Executive Director in place of Lord Tom Sawyer. Therefore Derek Beal has offered himself for election at the Annual General Meeting. Derek Beal is a Chartered Accountant and has spent the last 15 years of his career in recruitment. He serves as a Director of Reed Personnel Services plc and therefore cannot be considered an independent Non-Executive Director. A schedule of his other directorships is attached............ | schober

07/10/2004 11:36 | Back in this am - bullish statement and great dividend at this price. Should make 4m - 6m profit this year. Worth about £1.00 on fundamentals | ok,yah
07/10/2004 08:24 | May be buy at 49P ?, because divided still pay 2.35P. next year p/e about 11-13. | ang5
05/10/2004 17:25 | Interesting that Fidelity in its various different guises has picked up an additional 344,500 shares in the last 6 weeks or so. I am still not in but with the current market cap it would seem that this is now very vulnerable to being taken out either by another competitor or by going private. Hmm, what to do! | salpara111
29/9/2004 23:01 | This is being primed for a takeover by Pertemps. How many shares do they currently hold? What percentage? ...all IMHO, of course. | pylon
25/9/2004 20:30 | Rumour is current management want to keep the company. It's the shareholders they want to go! Company going private (as per reed holding) is on cards. Not good for investors normally. IMHO.. | happyjoe
20/9/2004 16:42 | Friday pm announcement.. .Someone trying to keep this quiet. £100m of turnover - under right hands could translate to £7.5m of profit. £20m market cap. No brainer if someone is big enough to force the current management to go. | happyjoe
08/9/2004 10:06 | In the city they always say, "sell at the first profits warning and look to buy again only after the third" Well, we have now effectively had the third and I have been waiting for this moment. The industry they operate in is pretty brutal but there is the real potential that at this level the company could be bought out. I think that looking for £1 or more is somewhat unrealistic but a bid at around 75 pence would probably be enough to win majority accpetance. The question is, do I take a punt in the expectation that there is a potential of a 40% upside. Hmm | salpara111
07/9/2004 21:30 | well here it is is the worst over now? can we look forwards to a golden future? | schober
