My Yorkshire understanding of "mullock",value viper,is a heap of rubbish.
I hope Redhall comes through its current travails as a leaner, meaner and certainly more efficient outfit.

One of the best rules in life and in investment is to bite the bullet. Its hard and awful but it gives a platform to build from. This lot should have had a massive profit warning along with huge writedowns and got it all out of the way and moved on.Instead its the steady drip drip......
I think they are poorly advised.
Is there any reason to think this is the last of the negative updates?? Maybe-maybe not.Sub 20p.

What an apposite choice of word mudbath. Perhaps they should rename the HQ the Mullock. you would need to be an insider to know what disastrous decisions were made by previous management. They are fighting for their lives now........

The Redhall saga seems to have taken a turn for the worse.
I had been toying with the idea of investing here once again.
The trading update however is in no way reassuring.
The future for Redhall,if it has one, looks to be very much of the "hard road" variety.
What a mullock Jackson and his BOD have created out of what was once such a vibrant company.

would have to say that I have rarely encountered such utter incompetence and hopelessness in a Board of Directors as this one. Reminds me of Metalrax -the slow drip drip and then the lights are turned off. That said I sold at 26p a few weeks ago. So why I am annoyed ?Probably because these deadlegs continue to draw salaries-what an utter shambles.........
There is of course the chance that this might be the bottom and a good time to get in -that's the game...........
The hard decisions on nuclear were never made. Will the banks stay supportive-no idea.

I suppose we all expected this type of statement (see today's trading update) but looks rather worse than I hoped.

I've just looked back at the interims - the chairman's note on prospects ends with 'The Board remain convinced that the Group's future prospects are strong.'

There seems no need to comment further...

CEO needs to get his cheque book out ; spoke to jackson; he says judge me in 6 months time; break up value way more than mkt cap ; bank need to remain supportive ; place your bets.............

Will the spotty boy from Henderson be able to salvage anything from this pile of ordure?. In terms of management failings and general incompetence this must rank with Elektron as one of the worst managed companies since the Bronze Age. Actually make that Ice Age.

What on earth is some young fund manager type going to bring to the party? Henderson though do own a large chunk of the equity. There again he can hardly be any worse than the fools who have run this once proud company into the ground. Or have those idiots been replaced by some others? Can anything be salvaged here you ask? Ive no idea -has anyone got a view??

I assumed this was going to drift south and then enter admin. Perhaps there is life left in this old dog-what a shambles this has been. Alot of it self inflicted.
