You could be right about RCN being a potential takeover target - this was mentioned in scsw;

"Meanwhile, Redcentric could also become a target itself as the sector is seeing a wave of consolidation, all at significant premiums. First, Daisy Group was acquired by a consortium led by Toscafund and this month then made a bid for Phoenix. Telecity announced a merger with Interxion last month and IOMART has previously had an approach from Host Europe".

Number of reasons really but primarily Tony Weavers involvement. Redcentric has turned into a much bigger beast since Maxima days, it is making huge sums of cash and is not far off from reaching critical mass. Yes they could make further acquisitions to build more growth into the business model but it just seems a logical time to take a healthy offer from a much bigger player which, I believe, Weaver would support. Price tag ....£3.Anyway these are just my thoughts and I have nothing concrete to base this on I'm afraid.

''Think this is being geared up for sale''

Would you mind explaining how you came to this conclusion?

Hi,

Sorry if it somewhere obvious but I can't find any broker notes. Can anyone briefly explain what is expected to drive the profit growth from 2015 to 2016, and then why that growth is expected to slow significantly?

Thanks

Another deal announced on Monday that some may have missed ...

MEDICA Group, the UK’s largest teleradiology provider, has signed a £1.1m, five-year connectivity deal with IT and N3 services provider Redcentric. The deal will provide super-fast and secure 24/7 access to radiology and imaging reporting to over 50% of NHS trusts across the UK.

Carpadium - Nitpicking perhaps, but I think you mean Mark not Jim! Mind you it seems (allegedly) that Mark buys the shares and then Jim subsequently recommends them in the Telegraph - good work if you can get it! (shush I never said that).
