Regency Mines Plc (LON: RGM) the natural resource exploration and development company with interests in energy storage, battery metals and natural gas announces the resignation of Andrew Bell as a Director of the Company.

Andrew Bell, outgoing director, said: "As the new directors have now become familiar with the business, the transition is complete, and this is the right time for me to leave the board and take on other responsibilities. I shall of course be available to assist whenever this may be required, but under the leadership of Scott Kaintz and the new Chairman the Company is in good hands and with the Nickel price finally beginning to improve, it has better prospects now than it has had for years."

Red Rock has a minute interest in Regency Mines that was once very big but reduced in value as the share price sank. Once worth several Rolls Royce and now a cup of char for each shareholder and dry biscuit.

Don't however get me wrong here as comments by AB on a [possible] transformational outcome in DRC [and Mid Migori] could yet come up trumps.

There are several negatives at Red Rock. There are positives in Jupiter Mines Limited and possible great outcomes at Musonoi and Mid Migori. Another possible is the US$2.95 million in royalties due from El Limon and one more, royalties at Mount Ida and US$8 million due if iron ore commercial production is ever reached.

Yes politics will suit Andrew Bell down to the ground. Politicians never lie. Everything is said in trying to seek a higher truth.
No election has been declared and now Speaker John Bercow may not stand for what is normally a strong Conservative seat. The article jumps the gun.
Of course Andrew Bell speaks well and that is a big plus and it would indeed be a miracle if he achieves his goal. Generally though the odds are against him but the publicity gained wont be bad.

Speaker John Bercow stands down on 31 October and will not stand in the next election in Buckinghamshire.

Bell should be concentrating on making RRR a success - full stop!"

Is success the right word?

Mess is more appropriate.

After 15 odd years Clunes then i think Bells had plenty of time already 'on making RRR a success'.

I thought the speaker John Bercow had announced his decision to retire and wont be standing in the next election. Thoughts are that he may stand as a candidate with one of the other parties in a different seat altogether.

(Quote - BREAKING NEWS) Red Rock’s Andrew Bell to stand against speaker John Bercow at next election 😳😮

By convention the speaker of the house of commons, standing as an independent, is returned unopposed by the major parties. But John Bercow is a divisive fellow.

I think not.

Liabilities waiting.

By my rough calculation that is £350k to RRR about £50k more than expected even if the dividend was announced later than expected. I assume that this is the bonus dividend talked about earlier in the year, if so there should be another dividend as per usual.

RRR's position looks like stale mate. The company has joined others in an undertaking to hold on to their Jupiter shares when imho they should sell some - due to lending so much to Steelmin and Amulet. Waiting whilst stale mate as cash dwindles in hopes that Mid Migori will get its mining license and a JORC resource turns up at Musonoi. Of course AB hopes that Red Rock shares will jump so a placing can be made. Everyone and their hamster knows this and remain on the sidelins with occasional buys and sells keeping the MMs in business.
