WEAK COBALT OUTLOOK

"A Japanese trader told S&P Global Platts he expects weak cobalt market conditions to continue due to ongoing slow demand and oversupply."

"At the moment, cobalt consumers are taking a wait-and-see position in the market. They purchased a lot before, demand is slow and weak, but demand will come back in two or three years from the electric-vehicle battery industry," he said.

"The suspension of Mutanda should put a floor under cobalt prices given the extent of production removed from the cobalt market, which is likely to make purchasers nervous," Hamilton said. "This effectively removes the surplus we have in the cobalt market over the next couple of years."

I personally can't see this helping RRR's DRC ventures going anywhere any time soon. What is there left to ramp here????

Greenland failed and was sold off for just £1
Ivory Coast went nowhere
Shoats Creek failed and is being written off
Steelmin has failed and is in Administration
El Limon royalties are paltry and pretty meaningless
Migori license got revoked and they are still fighting to get it back


Meanwhile this BOD spent approx. £850,000 just on Admin expenses last year

They also frittered away a further £1.1m on an unsecured loan to Steelmin which they didn't RNS to shareholders. That money is now lost imho.

They also made loans and transactions with Amulet Diamonds which they didn't RNS to shareholders which they have since said they expect to write off.

Things really don't look very good at all to me personally

You just couldn't make it up could you scally ?!!

Clowns every last one of them but the experienced can see the utter desperation in their antics and nonsense posts which for me suggests extremely highly that there is a placing being lined up which they have participated in.

This sudden and imho disastrous news for DRC cobalt, is therefore badly timed for them. I wonder what price the next lot of useless confetti will be at? My guess is 0.40p. So I'll personally be watching out for lots of trades around 0.45p which will imho likely be placess flipping for a quick 10% profit.

Of course you may choose to believe that Bell will sell down some of the crown jewel JMS shares instead of diluting shareholders with useless confetti. Believe what you will, each to their own. After 7+ years following this BOD's antics I've found them to be pretty predictable TBH.

so a large cobalt mine closing because of the collapsing price is a plus point for building a new one (assuming you find cobalt in sufficient quantity). That takes the biscuit. I thinks that's about as likely as Mount Ida Royalties being > $1

It's just a long list of failures

Except that from the BOD's perspective they're all successes because they each enabled the expenditure of a ton of cash on admin and other expenses.

Nothing for shareholders though except endless dilution and an utterly destroyed share price.

What next?

Yet another share consolidation, rinse and repeat??

When is the inevitable placing? Obviously imminent given Noirua's manic behaviours today imho.

especially concealing loans and transactions from shareholders, is enough to ensure it's a disaster for shareholders.

Secondary coal recovery from slag heaps is a tried and tested method where risk is low and the napkin numbers are good. Endeavours such as this may be worth looking into and pursuing when the time is right. A poem to end on. As one looks around, opportunities abound.

Explanation:

If the largest cobalt mine closes then less cobalt will be available. This should cause firmer prices in 2020.

Gold price goes up so those holding gold assets will see a higher demand and value of their holding.

Most will have realised this. For the few who deliberately pretend not to - a little help guys from a friendly face.

Utter BS Noirua.

There is a massive surplus of cobalt which has driven prices down. It's been known for ages and I've previously posted numerous articles that stated clearly what was going to happen. No surprises.

The world's largest cobalt mine is no longer economically viable at this point.
They have taken the sensible business decision to shut the mine down for a few years until market economics become favourable again.

Shades of Jupiter's Mt Ida which was mothballed until more favourable market environments reemerged. That was in 2012 and Mt Ida has remained mothballed ever since !


Glencore suffering these problems in NOT good news imho. Does not auger well for less streamlined businesses who will surely struggle even worse than Glencore.

Again, your behaviours today have surpassed childishness and bordered on the outright moronic. You've obviously gotten way too deep into this POS and are hurting badly and you have my sympathies.

How's that confetti coming along? Will it be a "bury the bad news Friday" RNS?
