Thanks smudgedan,

I was watching today's trading with interest and it seems after the quick rise up we had a 20k T trade close from yesterday with a small profit and then the buyer of 14899 at 7.49p then sold them 16 minutes later for 6.25p.

That and the 27928 trade yesterday that was sold soon after at a loss, shows that some of this buying is really not what it seems.

Which begs the question...why???

Trout, thanks for posting your thoughts. I dropped the company a line yesterday asking whether they would be providing a trading update. If they choose to respond I will let you know.

After a long and worrying wait I think things are starting to happen, hopefully the new people will first of all get rid of the deadwood on the board and then get some extra assets into the Company. We might end up making very good money here?

It would also seem ADVFN's charts have stopped tracking the rise, I am being quoted a far higher spread than they are showing.

Just a week ago you could buy 75k at 5.1p, today's trading and subsequent share price moves shows the MMs don't really want to sell any shares. The price action is somewhat abnormal even for this illiquid tiddler.

Also noting the trading of the last two days and wondering who these people are and why the sudden interest (in relation to the usual very small (if any) trading we normally see).

The MMs have shut down online buying (max 1k of shares on offer online) and made someone pay a premium to buy 15k. They are also bidding at 5.5p and so the small increase in quoted bid is nothing like the reality of the spread (large spread also puts off buyers).

This share is notoriously illiquid as anyone here for a while will have seen, so any buying even these small amounts moves the share price enormously.

These buys are really quite small and one buy yesterday seemed to be sold a couple of hours later. I cannot see any reason for the sudden interest.

If there was an update on a project or even some warrants were taken up at 10p then the market would react (pun purely intended).

Hi Smudgedan,

To be honest, past history of contact with the Company was so poor (pushed via their ex PR company) that it was a waste of time.

So that led me to look at info I could find and I am still doing so.

Ebioss have mentioned recently H1 2016 as a time when their gasifier will be sold to a foreign company (I believe this is destined for Newry). I am disappointed with this as I felt they wanted to move forward with this ASAP, although it was always going to take a year to get it back up and running, so hoping this is all in the timeframe and not too much slippage.

Clay Cross, the SPV's consultants have submitted lots more info and answers to Derbyshire CC, this was a month ago and hopefully they will now be working towards a planning meeting date. There is lots of local opposition to this facility, but they seem a little blinded in that the site already has permissions in place for a waste transfer site with 75,000 tonnes per annum going through it. So opposition on transport and daytime noise grounds seems misguided.

Enfield, it would be great to see something positive about this soon, if the Company could even get back what they have invested it would be good news, but if they can convert that and certain IP into a farm in of the project ongoing then that would provide a steady ongoing revenue.

Wind turbines and GGES are also meant to be things that could be moved forward quickly so let's see how they are doing.

They need to issue yearly results by the end of the year and as the second half was when it was suspended and in examinership then, there shouldn't be much to do, just hoping they come with some more forward outlook.

Afternoon Trout - Have you been in contact with the company regarding the long awaited update?

Well equity kickers handed out, 10% of the company given to the lenders (on top of their 15% pa interest).
It wasn't a surprise to see the share price drop and stay down until these shares were issued, the Company were rather naïve in their working out of the formula, as it was heavily skewed to giving away the maximum shares.

Anyway hopefully now they have some shares they will help push the Company forward. I thought the SLN was to give enough working capital for 12 months, we are 3 months in and absolutely nothing seems to have been done.
Time for an update!

Amazing how we have just had an EGM to allow dispensation for the concert party to go over 30% without having to make an offer for the Company and the smallest of trades see the price drop so much and at one point a near 30% spread.

All these creditors, warrant holders with lots of shares are locked in without the 12 month lock in, they just won't be able to sell in the market.

So come on get some things going and report back to the market on progress, it has been nearly 3 months now and we haven't seen or heard of anything about Newry, Enfield, Wind turbines and GGES, surely something will have moved forward.
I suspect they are waiting to give our biggest lenders the maximum equity kicker and then may announce some news....mind you I won't hold my breath. About time they got rid of the Directors they want to and get in some new blood in.
They need to build this more quickly now as funds will not last forever, they need to concentrate on revenue generating projects and build out the portfolio, then I think a trade sale to a larger entity is the only way to let everyone out of their investment here.

On another point the Clay Cross Biomass planning submission seems to have been rebooted, last I heard from the Council was they were waiting on further submissions, these seem to have been made at the end of last month.

Been a little negligent on the following up of certain things so thought I would have a look again tonight,

This is an interesting document, it is a follow up of their original business plan, which had to change due to law changes in Bulgaria.

Items of note are page 31 onwards, size of 3rd generation gasifier, the UK as a target market and on page 37 we have this,

"We are in a very advanced stage of negotiations in several projects
and the Company has decided to deliver and install one of the
gasifiers initially manufactured for Bulgaria (Karlovo 2nd phase) to
one project in the UK for up to 4MW capacity using wood waste.
This agreement will be published to the market after closing the final
negotiations. These 3 projects in UK are owned by private companies."

I believe this is for Newry, especially after the Company published this with the Newry information, "These numbers are based on deploying the EQTEC technology to repower the plant at 4MW output."

On page 40 they mention the bond raising and how that was to be invested in minority stakes in international projects, this was put on hold due to Bulgaria change (mentioned on 39).
On page 41 they point out the 2 projects in UK that they will need to have finance from the Ebioss bond raising.

These are for a total of 16MW (4MW Newry and 12MW Enfield???).

Read back and you will see that previous research on Ebioss and EQTEC was proved correct when the company confirmed it in their literature,

"6.14 From August 2014 React Energy Plc signed Heads of Terms with a strategic investor (EBIOSS Energy AD, a company listed on the MAB market on the Madrid Stock Exchange) for a technology transfer and funding in the sum of €6m over 2 years. This led to negotiations with the Enfield Landlord (Edmonton Property Company Limited), which was also a co-development partner, in relation to the terms of a lease agreement for the Enfield Biomass Limited Project. The company had entered into a collaboration agreement with the Foresight Group in relation to a 12MW Biomass Project in Enfield which involved a funding partnership with Foresight. A lease which was required was signed with the owners of the Enfield site in the amount of £54,000 per month from December 2013 which was guaranteed by React.

6.15 However the agreement with Foresight subsequently did not progress with knock on impact on the related funding. This has led to a postponement in the funds from the strategic investor."

So it still looks to be on and I expect the gasifier originally planned for Bulgaria will be going to Newry. I had hoped to have heard more on this already, but things are taking time and I suppose they need to get the EGM formality done, however it only really needs to be done if the concert party are thinking of taking up their 10p warrants.....hmmm that's another story.

Hi Trout, thanks for getting back to me. I have been researching a company called Tejoori (TJI) which is AIM listed and based in UAE. They have two investments, one of which being a 10% share in BEKON. They also have around $3.5m in cash in a Wakala deposit.

The company has been comatose for the last couple of years and the share price has dropped significantly. It is difficult to trade online as the price is listed in USD (I bought some the other day with HL over the phone) but the discount to stated NAV is over 30 times and the discount to stated cash is around a multiple of 4.

Clearly risks involved but interesting nevertheless.

Hi Smudgedan,

I was not, I have looked at their website and looks like a decent bit of kit.
There will be lots of different approaches to Biomass and AD, some of the technology has been used enough to see that it actually does what it says on the tin.

Unfortunately Newry used a rather new tech and it didn't live up to the promise, hence needed to repower the site.

Why Bekon AG?

Seen this posted on LSE,

Firstly, I am a bit of a sceptic when it comes to Zac's calls, he tends to target co's that have just risen and through the Share Prophets base that attracts more buying. As I say not sure how successful his calls are and the charts here are absolutely skewed by the suspension and illiquidity.

However in saying that he has found a price channel and I believe we are too low in that channel.

What is good is that React is getting some airing, it was so under the radar no-one had ever heard of it.
The flipside is some are confusing it with newly renamed React Group (REAT) this is not the same company.

DYOR,

ryan, no worries.

Looking better just due to some interest, but it is still down to the Company to see it move further forward.
I still see it as undervalued here at this price, but if it rises back towards 10-11p then it will need projects to move forward to increase valuations.

The wind turbines would be one such case as built and operational the planned 0.5MW turbines (8 of them) could be valued at least £0.85m each (in fact their built cost is over £1m each)

Enfield, a confirmation they have been successful in achieving a free carry on the Enfield project would be great and could see them recoup the £2.7m they had invested in the project.

Newry being progressed ASAP would be another.

Planning permission on Clay Cross Biomass another, although there is local contention towards the project.
