20/12/2010 16:55 | New all time high today, nobody very interested. | sammu
14/12/2010 10:48 | It looks like this is trading at quite a big discount to New Britain Palm Oil, and I was having a think as to why this would be... RE. No forward sales Smaller (less liquid?) Not as good green credentials Indonesian tax rises as CPO price rises Early stage Coal operations NBPO Some forward sales at lower than current prices Larger (More liquid?) Green credentials Better tax enviroment? Sugar I'm not sure which has the better planting/maturity profile. Any thoughts anyone? | sammu
21/10/2010 15:21 | Nice and quiet here. Figures were OK but will take a time for new plantings to produce. On track in my view. dyor etc | johnrxx99

05/8/2010 09:24 | Morning. Joined you long today as a March spreadbet. It looks to me as if the share price is breaking out after a very decent period of consolidation. I note that interims are due on 26th August, so I am hoping for a nice run into them. I noted, too, the Rolling PEG-1 of 0.41, so the technicals are underpinned by value/growth. I have not done too much other research, however, other than the Hardman note, so if anyone wants to argue the investment case I should be very interested - it might tempt me to build a bigger position! | saucepan
09/7/2010 05:39 | And a write up in Momentum Investor. Low peg and good fundamentals although the borrowing is higher than I would like. | johnrxx99
07/7/2010 11:13 | 16 page Hardman note on REA Holdings - "The shares of this palm oil producer have risen 18% against the market since our last research note. The current year will almost certainly see a larger crop, a higher average palm oil price, and the first contribution from the new open pit coal mining interests. We expect rapid growth in EPS every year up until 2014. The shares are on a single figure p/e ratio" | chingman

11/3/2008 23:43 | They sneaked in a trading update mid afternoon. Bit of a curates egg, but IMHO more disappointments that good though. OK news, crops 3.5% above budget for last year and expect another 7% increase in 2008. This years crops started above budget. More land acquired is good subject to land titles. The bad news is only 1500 ha planted compared to 6000 budgeted due to delays in land titles. Also the policy of a portion to forward sales continues to end 2009 at 640, 870 and 860. I know they need the cash upfront to develop but thats a giveaway. I really cant see CPO going back to 800s again.. Indo export tax is bad but affects all the Indo players so out of their control. IMHO, there are the better managed and cheaper palm producers. | woracle
