Goal, i have no idea. I would presume that the money will eventually be credited to account and the shares wiped. I a sure someone will have a better and more informed answer though.

The cost of my shares officially now off of my account. Nearly had a heartatack when i logged to look at my sum..... hmm... few months wait and we will see how things pan out.

Boffster - would waste too much of the administrators time as you and other shareholders are now paying for it. The big issue was anti-trust and doubtless they would have relied on the work already done by management and its lawyers on that issue.

Garmin notes that, on 14 May 2010, following an announcement by Raymarine that
all loans outstanding under its banking facilities had been declared immediately
due and payable, an administrator was appointed to Raymarine and a sale of its
shares in Raymarine Holdings Limited (which represents the entire business
operations of Raymarine and its subsidiary undertakings) was subsequently
completed. Accordingly, conditions (c) and (g) (viii) and (xiii) to Garmin's
pre-conditional offer for Raymarine are no longer capable of being satisfied and
the pre-conditional offer has now lapsed.

I will be asking the administrators for an explanation of what they did. The Garmin offer was receieved only a couple of hours before the announced sale. I find it hard to believe that the Garmin offer could have been properly evaluated in that short time. If I'm unsatisfied with their responses I will notify the Insolvency Practitioner's Association.

In my experience Administrators just do what they do. there is no come back. just wait for 19.5p.. Hopefully!

Garmin would have to pay whole lot more now - and not to old RAY s/h's

kab6 - i lost 80% of my sipp wih ray, i bought in over the 100p mark, and what about all thouse that bought in at over 300p just a few years back ? about 1% of ray holders are in the money i bet.

I think we should email the administrators at least asking why were only getting 20p and not the 35p offer from garmin, at least they may look into upping the 20p were getting.
