16/1/2009 22:18 | Loverat just listened to Mr Kaufman's speech, pretty powerful stuff. Cant fault him - coming from a Jew and with his history and his past affiliation to Israel - all the more poignant : | cyberpost
16/1/2009 20:46 | Thank you Loverat. | traderx2u
16/1/2009 20:38 | TraderX2u I am against what the Israelis are doing so I support your gesture. Nobody can possibly condone the murder of civilians in Lebanon and now Gaza. For that reason, on this occasion I agree with Gerald Kaufmann. | loverat
16/1/2009 20:01 | Can everyone do this please? It will only take 30 seconds. They send back an instant reply saying "Thank you for speaking out against the violence in Gazza. We'll make your voice count." Text the word 'ceasefire' to 81819 Guardian/Save the Children running petition on Gaza. It is free to text. | traderx2u

12/1/2009 21:35 | Loverat, the documentary you wathed was about Henry Allingham, 112 years old. Henry is the old gent on the left | california joe
12/1/2009 20:54 | That is sad. I saw a documentary about a WW1 veteran recently. I am not sure, it may be the same old gent. The documentary was about a WW1 veteran who originally flew planes or was an engineer for the British Airforce in East Africa where fighting took place at the time. He may have been assigned to the Navy as they may have been seaplanes. I think maybe I should revive my old history thread. It had alot of interest. | loverat |
