30/9/2016 22:56 | The only SAIN reason that I see about morning RNS is that REM wants to acquire more than 20% BCN shares. If that was not correct reason, then REM went mad. Buying BCN with their own (REM) shares??? OK, let's translate this- let's say your company trades at 0.7, so you issue megaahoy and dilute your shares to 0.05 or whatever. So where is a return to original investors???? Not placing BCN on London market is a smart move- we don't need AIM gigaahoys every weekend. Well let them figure out their moves and how to finance plant without turning this to lifestyle company- something like RRR, solo, LGO and UKOG (cough cough). Other than that REM is holding 0.7 +/- a few points. Not great, considering the fact that it was tauted as Saudi of lithium, but not bad either. It means, that majority of buyers believe that there is some value here. Another encouraging thing saving REM from rubbish bin is that overal on daily basis there are more buys than sells. Buys intensify every time it goes closer 0.7. So the thought can be that there will be certain time when these shares appreciate, rather than depreciate. Time will tell. | rwauu

30/9/2016 12:52 | Things are beginning to get interesting with Rem seeking to take the reins. Another move on the DL chess board. Hopefully we might start to see some positive moves forward with the share price Looking forward to seeing how this sudden turn of events plays out. | gantenbrink

29/9/2016 10:02 | I was at a presentation last night where we were told of energy solutions for battery storage. I live in Orkney, which produces 105% of required energy, but cannot export it off the island. It is now possible to store this energy in an affordable way. As an example, the local sport centre, which includes a cinema and swimming pool, could store enough energy in a 20' container unit, as opposed to 3 X 40' containers which would have been required just 3 years ago. Sorry for the ramble, but it is definitely going to change energy use in the future. | redhammy
21/9/2016 08:58 | REM will have a lot more knowledge about the prospects of BCN than you or I do and have based their purchase on that. They seem to have made several pretty astute investment in the past including EMH. Long may it continue. | wageslave
21/9/2016 08:27 | What a waste of money- buying BCN at inflated prices! First of all REM will spend all the money that it has. So there will be placement ahoy! Since there will be a placement ahoy and more ahollions of shares, each share will own less and less of BCN. So investors back to square 1. Lifestyle company, you will never see this going up and 0.8 is way to high for company that will have nothing to show and zero cash balance. | rwauu
20/9/2016 23:30 | Hazelst: If my understanding is correct, the loan notes are leveraged by the company's assets i.e. it's shares in lithium miners and the notes will eventually be converted into shares which could be sold. The reason why REM's share price has not gone up presumably is because the increased stake in BCN and any other future investments is at the expense of further potential dilution and any income from the investments is still quite some time in the future. BCN's price firmed as expected because it is the target of the investment. | rossowheels
20/9/2016 11:39 | What we really want is bad news to move the share price upwards. lol | hazelst
20/9/2016 10:51 | It's already happening chicken! | hazelst |
