Hi there Logan - pleased to see that you are still with us and enjoying a break in Russia with your family. Never been there myself, but if it stays that warm I might give it a try!

I am leaving England again tomorrow for the rice fields of Thailand, then back for a month over Christmas. Anything to avoid the British winter.

Hi Grizzly - I have been North for the past month. Not to Scotland but to St Petersburg in Russia.

On the 2nd September at 20.00 in the evening after taking my son ice skating it was still 28C!!! (20C in the summer is considered hot in St Petersburg) Now we know where the British summer went. And just to think in only 5 weeks from that date usually sees the first snow falls of the winter.

Well we've got an interday close above 78p at last but not very convincing at 78.5p!

Let see whether we can break this strong resistance a little bit more positively before the end of the week and close up in the 80's.

Well we look well poised to break well into the 80's next week providing the ftse 250 has a good week. We need an interday close above 78p to break resistance.
