Posted at 17/8/2023 12:39 by km18 Rank Group plc posted Prelims for the year ended 30th June this morning. Like-for-like underlying net gaming revenue was up 7% to £679.7m, underlying operating profit for the full year was £20.3m, in line with the upgraded guidance provided in April 2023, but down on the prior year of £42.5m. H2 profit performance was stronger than H1. The balance sheet remains very solid despite a move from net cash of £16.9m to net debt pre-IFRS 16 of £3.9m over the year. Valuation is decent with forward PE ratio at 16.8x, the share price also has some near-term positive momentum. The fragile economic environment is the main cloud for the investment case. Other than that RNK is a decent name to own for the longer run......from WealthOracle |
Posted at 21/4/2023 08:17 by blackhorse23 I think 888 will be back to 500p soon from 77p , revenue up 74% to 1.85 billion at 2022 . 888 revenues 3 times more than rnk but low mcap |
Posted at 20/3/2023 15:56 by blackhorse23 Bought 888 Holdings, better value & revenue than RNK |
Posted at 16/11/2022 12:57 by blackhorse23 CURY pays dividend every year & buying back shares, last year bought £75m worth shares |
Posted at 13/7/2022 02:41 by blackhorse23 CURY (LSE) looks very good... FY dividend 3.15p ( ex dividend dates 4th August) , launching 75 millions share buy back program, profit 186 millions, revenue over 10 billion... good solid company, switching some investment to CURY |
Posted at 25/8/2021 07:43 by leadersoffice RNK win there battle against HM revenue somewhere in the region of 80 million to come back into the coffers. Perhaps a return of capital will be on the cards? |
Posted at 18/11/2020 17:02 by leadersoffice Just typical that my application to apply for shares in RNK in the retail offer was scaled back.... for 90p I could have made a mint. Best not to be greedy. |
