Time to drive those cheap USA cars and not the expensive tariff protected German ones.

Nice one bonio.

Trump hasn't started yet, wait till he gets in his stride.

Don't forget also he has people at the treasury who are very gold oriented.

I don't think Trump's version of making "America great again" involves even more confetti dollars, although that will happen in the first instance and the $20TRN debt will certainly increase, but the piper always has to be paid and it will be paid in a dramatic fashion by gold being re-rated sharply higher when the merde hits the fan.

Great day, gold up, Brexit looking the clean version, USA, Canada, Aus, NZ etc all wanting deals.

and all my invoicing is in USD.

Going to be a great 2017.

I am a novice! And I called it wrong before christmas. I don't think I should be filtered though!

PP - I have him filtered.

But I remember him calling $1,000 and pretending he was a novice etc.

Well done to you - but Giles should be filtered. He could have cost people real money.

Im just more cautious than you. I hope you're right as we only make money when it goes up. I will be buying and selling RRS every day as usual.

Indeed giles.

If it goes to $1300 then $1299 will be support.

Let's face it giles, you called gold completely wrong before xmas.

It's obvious now it's on an uptrend.

So, I repeat. By mid-2017 gold $1500, RRS £100.

Im here. Selling this morning. 1200 is a ceiling. Gold could go down to 1100. However, interesting to see how Theresa May's speech is taken tomorrow. If it goes the right way 1200 could become support and then the sky is the limit!

Phil - but that has been the case since the vote?

For every importer there is pretty much an exported benefiting too.
