nhs buyer - yet another one.

I have a list of them. I will publish it here in due course, so all decent posters know who to filter.

If the story below comes to pass, then the gold price will explode.

Somebody purchased £2.5m worth ten minutes ago.

If that's not a vote of confidence, I don't know what is.

I said it was a trade and I'm out for now will review again.I would like to think that if Italy vote No it could push the price of Gold up but on the other hand a yes vote will push other shares up.

I see the "Phantom Red Ticker" has been allowed out of his playpen.

What a sad individual.

Gutless too. Because if I ever met him....................................

bonio1000 - good evening.

Don't really have one, as haven't read much of his stuff. He does though have a strong view on gold being "monitised", ie his view is that eventually the US$ will completely destroy itself and have to be rebased backed by gold.

He's calling for $10,000 per oz to be reached if by any chance the USA goes back to some sort of gold standard.

I think most here will be happy with $2-3,000 if the Shanghai exchange and the Shariah compliant contract get really motoring.

D1 who do you use to buy physical gold from?
Happy with today's move, although my top up at 10am didn't look so good at 11am, good rally at 3pm may get to £61 sooner than I thought

The only way to do it dstorey1.

Both will pay off in a very big way in the months and years to come.

Noticed Friday that RRS was moving with a slight detachment from POG, maybe business-centric news soon?

Just bought 100 g of the physical and a small top up here. Bit by bit:)

A very good performance so far today. Remains to be seen whether gold can hold the gains, but given what's coming on Dec 6th I don't see why not.

Terry

It is simple.

The US economic news is generally released just prior to the US opening, jobs numbers etc.

The fact it is perceived to have been strong recently (the fact it isn't is another debate) means that when the US opens gold gets hammered from the off (i.e. strong news means more rate hikes factored in).

If the news turns bad you will see gold rising from the open of the US.

Don't get me wrong, I am a RRS holder. I just find it fascinating how gold goes down when US opens. This has been happening for quite some time now.
