08/2/2016 16:51 | Back pre Lehman and when Yamana Gold was dual listed in London, it was a perfect leveraged tracker for gold prices. The great thing was that if gold fell overnight, one could sell at 8.00am prompt before the London market makers had marked down the price | leedskier
08/2/2016 16:46 | still a long way to go to sept 2011 high, this is just blip on five yr chart, to reach half way to that fig, doesn't seem unreasonable nai seems plunge protection team moved in with late support for dow? good luck to Bernie Sanders why do you need to invest in lenders charging 1500% or those charging 10% exit fees on pensions | mike24
08/2/2016 16:44 | AddAUY up 13.5%. | leedskier
08/2/2016 16:42 | Yamana Gold (AUY) has risen a similar percentage in NY. | leedskier
08/2/2016 16:37 | £60 -- round number close ?? | younasm
08/2/2016 15:32 | Gold has gone balistic today. I withdrew my limit to sell from £60 and set to £62 as there is something has really got this going apart from the very good results today | a3477681
08/2/2016 14:56 | Good news? Why do we need good news on this thread :-)? We're doing pretty well with the news as it is, whatever it is! And at £60 i will pretty soon be in the money with RRS... | sogoesit
08/2/2016 09:04 | There were some good U.S. job numbers, weren't there? | richie32
06/2/2016 08:43 | Please tell what was the good us news Ritchie? | p4ulinho
05/2/2016 20:47 | Gold is going gangbusters. Shorts are going to get squeezed. Two important previous swing highs are $1191 and $1232. For me though, I would want a monthly close above $1307 to confirm the bear market is over. It may sound diabolical with gold so strong but I still expect a swing down to $1020 this spring as a minimum. Possibly $950. | abc125
05/2/2016 16:05 | That's quite telling. Gold dropped on good U.S. news but is soon half way back. Seems the underlying trend is still up (I think) | richie32
05/2/2016 14:14 | last night 11.30pm 11.45pm spikes were up, just a few $'s seemed a sign g/price were going to retrace today the opposite seems to happen before a rise | mike24
05/2/2016 14:09 | Managed to hook a gold short at the double top on the 5 minute chart at $1160 but nearly got stopped out as it spiked to $1164 as the non farm payrolls came out. Markets always make spike highs/lows at important turning points to clear out shorts/longs. Not expecting a big drop in gold just yet but will keep it open and trail my stop down. | abc125
04/2/2016 17:52 | True Let's see Still holding other mining stock | gucci
04/2/2016 16:56 | But if we get a retracement, a long may be in order. Price moves in commodities can last longer and move further than many expect. And the prices can move so quick it can keep one locked out of a rising trend or locked in a declining trend. | abc125
04/2/2016 16:51 | gucci, you might have sold too soon. If we close the week above $1150, we got a good shot at $1200 gold. RRS could get to £60. | abc125
04/2/2016 15:29 | just sold the last of mine too | gucci
04/2/2016 15:22 | back in cash ,to big a rise for one day, hope share price keeps going from 1158 might retrace nai | mike24
04/2/2016 14:24 | Last buy was at 3800 So a perfect return | gucci
04/2/2016 08:10 | you say WOW but for percentages watch aal,glen, lmi | mike24
04/2/2016 06:28 | USD weakness has relieved downward pressure on commodities' prices including gold. Expect more, at least for the time being; $1180'ish soon? | sogoesit
03/2/2016 16:06 | Mixed news from the U.S. but taken overall it's not inspiring. Put it this way: it doesn't look like gold will dive despite any manipulation | richie32
03/2/2016 15:37 | I'm still enjoying holding :-) | gucci |
