22/12/2009 18:00 | One might also assume that several of the non-execs who put serious money into the shares at about 90p, knew what they were doing, since they were attending board meetings - but hey ho, sometimes one can be more objective on the outside. | edmondj
22/12/2009 16:39 | If you read the last interim statement they acknowledge that they are exceptionally well capitalised and say 'we will be looking to release an element of excess capital to shareholders over time as conditions in global markets stabilise.......'Ass | jonnym
22/12/2009 12:34 | They could easily survive the NR fiasco, the question is what dent to investing reputation when it was obviously a troubled situation - certainly high risk, at the very least - to get exposed to. | edmondj

22/12/2009 12:09 | Trading update due in a couple of weeks (8th Jan) should give some momentum to the share price (hopefully upwards). | fireplace22
22/12/2009 11:20 | QALBABBASS - Good point. What are the chances it could be cut though, probably not too great. | guru11
18/12/2009 12:06 | Still slipping. With an increasing dividend yield these shares can not stay at these levels for long. However there are over four months before the dividend is paid, and I expect that when the div is announced in the results (Jan/Feb) the price will start to pick up. | qalbabbass

17/11/2009 13:05 | Published on 26-10-09 "RAB's Pi Asia and Cross Europe have recovered all their lost ground" RAB Special Situations RAB Capital's $501m flagship fund made 8.6% this year. It lost 73% last year as markets it focused on evaporated and its investment fell in value. A year ago, manager Philip Richards cut its incentive and base fees so investors would stay invested until September 2011. Gains this year, made as markets recovered and Richards rebalanced Special Situations towards more liquid investments, still left it 70% off where it was before the crunch. RAB's Pi Asia and Cross Europe have recovered all their lost ground, investors said. RAB declined to comment. | qalbabbass |
