Quixant plc provided an update on trading for the financial year ended 31 December 2022 this morning. The Board expects to report full year revenues of $119.9m, 38% up year-on-year, the highest revenue performance in the Group's history, and slightly ahead of market expectations. This is despite the backdrop of substantial supply and economic disruption. The Group also expects adjusted profit before tax to be slightly ahead of market expectations – current consensus is for adjusted profit before tax of $10.1m. Bot are the best performance since FY18. The balance sheet remains strong with net cash up to $12.9m. Valuation is average with forward PE ratio around 15x. Share price has been trading sideways for 12 months and also lacks momentum. Not bad company, but a share to monitor for the time being...

Really not sure what’s going on with QXT today as it's up 5% on the highest volume traded in almost two years, Last January their year-end TU was on the 13th, so, one is due shortly I guess.

Very quiet board? Just trying to buy in as recent pull-back looks a good entry point but struggling to buy more than 1000! Is qxt usually so. Illiquid? Spread low at 149/50

30 trades gone through so far today ... many times more than is the norm for QXT.
Must be something stirring up considerable interest in Quixant plc.

QUIXANT (QXT): CORP1H comfortably in line with double-digit revenue growthToday's 1H update notes double-digit yoy revenue growth and profits comfortably in line with management expectations. With COVID issues for the gaming industry receding into the past, management is delighted to report strong demand across both Gaming and Densitron, driving healthy order intake over the period. The global component shortage and inflation continue to be of concern but QXT continues to proactively manage them through increased inventory and customer pricing increases. Net cash slipped from $17.4m in January to a still very healthy $15.1m in June as a result of the additional working capital invested in stock, as well as the dividend distribution. Looking ahead, the new CFO, Johan Olivier will join at the end of August and the 1H21 results will be released in late September but for now we reiterate our forecasts and 250p

Couple of fairly hefty trades (for QXT) late reported Friday, volume continues in relatively thin market.

Thinking of dropping the CFO a quick line to suggest an interim dividend, traditionally Quixant have only paid a final once a year in April.

An extra 2p wouldn't strain their finances and still allow for a sizable acquisition if that's a consideration, they also have borrowing facilities should they need a bit of headroom (post acquisition).

It reminds me of Zytronic in many ways which recently opted for a share buy back.

A higher yield may make it more attractive to a wider investing community.

Any thoughts?
