Good article in the Sunday Times Review page 2; how digital reading has slowed and book worms are turning back to printed books. I much prefer print books they are so easy to write in and bookmark, I used to underline words when revising for exams.
Also don't forget to get a copy of the accounts in print form so you can write on them lots of ratios and see just how good and profitable Quarto is.
Just looking forward to a good dividend for several years and expect the share price to climb in excess of 10% per year.

Yes he should know how each segment is operating relatively well by now and how they fit within the company.

Hopefully hear news soon on what Mr Mills has been up to, some disposals releasing shareholder value ideally.

Ticked up to 150/158 so if you want any shares you'll pay more than Chris Mills gave to Ennismore.

Chris Mills is Harwood....no longer Hambro

Yep that correlates with the options he held of 10% to make up 29% of the voting rights until 9/12/12 so he has bought those options.

Assuming the Ennismore shares (10%) went to Harwood (now 19%) and add Hambros - Chris Mills (9%) to the concert party - then we are on the edge of bid territory...
Interesting times for this share.

Well could be they wanted the funds now so 157 is a good price given the shares traded at 146 this morning. I see it as a positive that someone bought them for that value.

Why do you suppose Ennismore would sell out entirely? Presumably they don't think there's much of a future.

There's the answer Ennismore have sold the lot probably to Harewood.

John Lee who has held these as long as myself has decided to quit the FT column where he regularly mentioned Quarto so this could be his last piece. The last few lines where Tim Chadwick mentions which parts fit with the Quarto group so watch this space. "Now we will look at all the assets, one by one, [to assess] what they do and how they fit and whether they work within the group."

Agreed Christopher Mills will want to see agressive capital growth here one way or another.

Yes indeed! I have to feel sorry for poor old Laurence after years of hard work bringing this company to what it is but i guess we are all here to make a profit and that's what will happen . What happens next is anyones guess, could he bid for the company or find a buyer ,who knows we may even break up anyways i feel the potential for my investment is a lot better.
