Putting aside any interest I might have in QFI,this video from the UK Chamber of Shipping is a fascinating watch.
It is a general video concentrating on the decarbonisation aspect from every angle.
AI is now being used to design a ship virtually from scratch for the optimum vehicle.
Tougher regulation is a must they say.

I think that any winner in this environment is going to be a real money maker.
I am starting with QFI and it is included in the video, but any further suggestions are genuinely welcome.

I've done my research now and don't want to keep posting until there is news.
However whenever the de rampers come on, I will stand up for my investment.

What about you are you bored on such a nice day?
I am gardening here in between looking in.

The stock market has made a lot of people irritable.

I am mostly sold out now apart from my little speculative ones.

GL.

Looks like the shipping industry is in need of a clean up as well.

'The obstruction of the Suez Canal earlier this year served as a vivid reminder of the importance of maritime transport for economies around the globe. The blockage was resolved within a matter of days, but a much more existential challenge remains for the shipping industry.

Simply put: How to tackle climate change? The maritime transport industry is under increasing pressure to curb its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which account for approximately 3% of global emissions annually. The sector is highly dependent on heavy fuel oil—a high-carbon fossil fuel that closely resembles tar. In light of this, decarbonizing the current global sailing fleet of approximately 100,000 ships represents a mammoth task that will require more energy efficient ships as well as revolutionizing the industry’s entire fuel supply chain.'

'In the EU, the European Commission estimates that reaching the 2030 climate target will require additional annual investments of €360 billion on average, starting now. This will raise relevant investments from an average of €683 billion per year in the last decade to around €1,040 billion per year. Roughly a third of the additional investment is in transport, by far the largest component because of large vehicle replacement needs. Apart from transport, the emphasis seems to lie more on doubling investment in residential heating, but smaller
components .....'

zero/

'Net zero pathways point to similar orders of magnitude (Figure 2). The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) frontloads the necessary investments to the current decade, resulting in investments of $5.7 trillion per year until 2030, though less thereafter. Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) estimates average investment requirements to be between $3.1 trillion and $5.8 trillion per year until 2050.'
